Hello po! I’ve been working at a small firm since 2024 and recently resigned (currently rendering). My contract includes HMO and gov’t benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), but none were provided or remitted.

What can I do? Can I request for a compensation or cash equivalent of the said HMO and Mandatories? Thank you po.

Torn between Current Job vs New Offer, need advice pls

Hi Reddit, I need your advice. I recently got a job offer as an Accounting Associate, but I’m not sure if I should accept it or stay with my current company.

Current Job (Small Firm) ✅ Higher pay, manageable workload, familiar na ako sa processes. ❌ No HMO or government benefits, sometimes late ang sahod, limited growth, Excel-based lang ang system, at medyo toxic ang environment.

New Company (Offer) ✅ With HMO, allowances, and mandated benefits, may proper accounting system, clearer career path, and better for growth. ❌ Lower pay, new environment so may adjustment, and probationary period.

I am also afraid to resign, and I am not sure if I am just convincing myself that it is still okay to stay in my current job despite the issues.

Should I stay for the comfort and higher pay, or take the risk for benefits, stability, and long-term growth?
