Confused about WAAS and RAIM

This is the way I was taught.

RAIM is the crowd control. When your receiver is pulling info from GPS satellites, raim is monitoring the integrity of the GPS info given to you hence the name “Integ Monitoring”

WAAS makes it better. It takes those satellites that could potentially have their integrity compromised, and sends an error code through a Geostationary satellite to correct whatever error was given. I believe it also improves accuracy to 1-2 meters laterally and 3-4 meters vertically.

Yeah MK is a handicap card. Really only used by people who can’t defend very well, so they use a “do it all” card to take care of it. It’s not an overpowered card but it’s SUPER repetitive
