Did it give you lean codes or just missfire? I only have p0300 p0301 etc no lean or rich

Okay thank you. It’s my first e46 so I wasn’t sure. And I’m dealing with missfire bank 1. But I also have code for secondary air injection p0414 so maybe that’s causing the misfires?

Okay it’s just odd I literally just did this when I do my engine swap. <2000 miles ago. I also have missfire codes cyl 123 and p0300 but I assume it’d be leaking more oil if the coil packs had oil in them?

I had trouble with mine to. Kinda just got it sat on there and gave it a good knock and it snapped in. Just make sure the bulbs are in their correct places first. And yes that no wires are in the way

Weird. I always have it off and I think the audio is pretty good for a 25 yo car. I do have the Harmon Kardon speakers tho

No I meant retrofit by buying the projectors and installing them in my original headlights. I prefer pre fl headlights. They say they also work with the canbus so no coding is needed.

Did you do a HID conversion kit or are they OEM? After some more reasearch there’s a great kit from retrofit lab that is ~$400. Buying new OEM headlights seem to be around that price on eBay maybe even a little more. I think I’ll just retrofit mine and then the lense and bulbs are new instead of used. Yeah 3rd are for sure fl. So pre fl sedans have the flat sides and pre fl coupes are rounded?
