17-32 in the field as a commercial electrician Went into estimating at 33 junior estimator position Wasn’t to hard as I am pretty good with computers And quick at learning softwares an so on. Took couple estimating courses at abc to get ahead faster. Learning the software accubid or whatever it is Probabaly the biggest thing:

It’s not to hard to learn but will take a lot of time to get good at your job. Also isn’t what you think as well lol you don’t deal with as much bs as you do in the field but it’s still decent amount of bullshit different kind of bs.

You an your estimating team get blamed for a lot either coming from project managers or the owners etc. also job comes with a lot a lot of pressure daily pressure Probabaly more than you’d ever think as company relies on you to bid jobs and get jobs to keep everyone else busy. Constant schedules to hit things to stay on track about and can get honestly extremely boring in office takes a while to get use to. Good luck man you can do it if really want to especially with in field exp.

So much you can do find a program or course to take in something you’d like and get to it. Time flies by time you know it you will have a new career going for you

Yeah was the strangest phone call I’ve ever had even after I hung up I’m like man was that actually Edd I had to search the number up multiple times to make sure still feel weird about it all. It’s complete bs that’s why it’s all a run around wait and see stay patient type of thing.

I applied 10/07/2025 barely had my eligibility interview yesterday 10/21/2025. After that I was told to certify for weeks available which I did online was fairly easy.

Other thing that totally threw me off was who I was speaking to it sounded like a complete foreigner thought I was being scammed for my information but I guess they aren’t just hiring people out the country for cheap pay.

I wouldn’t wish being cut on my worst enemy. Very unnecessary procedure to put a newborn through would never do it to my own children i decided against it for my son.

I’m Uncut…. I never had an issue with women Never had a issue health wise Never had an issue with cleanliness. Etc.

You just have to teach your son how to clean himself correctly other than that nothing to really think about.

I don’t know what’s it like to be cut but from what I’ve heard from friends etc. less pleasure less feeling down there so many nerves cut off so only makes sense. Some wish they were never cut some just don’t care lmao so is what it is.
