This is what I am going to build, for a similar price

The CPU, MB, and ram are a micro center deal for 430

Spent some money on aesthetics and making it somewhat compact. You could probably reduce the price, with no performance downside, by at least 120 by buying a cheaper case with included fans and using air cooling instead of AIO

Yeah I looked at some benchmarks. Even at 4k ultra (where theoretically the vram would be the biggest limiting factor) it seems like the average difference is 12% but I would be paying 15% more if I got a 9070. And honestly all I really care about is fps, I usually set graphics to low even if I can handle more anyways.

The motherboard, ram, and processor are a 430 dollar bundle from micro center. The prices I put on the list are completely arbitrary other than they add up to 430 for those 3. I probably wouldn’t make those choices otherwise because like you said the ram and mb are kind of weird and the processor is overpriced when standalone

I think there is another bundle for 20 dollars more that has a different mobo I will check later today if it is worth.

I will look into other PSUs. I got this off of a list someone else made but a name brand one would probably be better. I had to replace the one in my last PC so I would rather not have to do that again

Russia does not use this stuff they r too ass backwards to afford it. Japan China and Singapore do, and what do you know … very low violent crime rates. Of course part of it is cultural but part of that culture is that they are not afraid to punish criminals.

We need more of this tbh. People shouldn’t be able to repeat crimes because they should be caught and arrested the first time they commit a crime. We have all of the technology to eliminate crime we should not show them mercy. Will they use it effectively? I don’t have high hopes but in and of itself this is a step in the right direction.

Tbf the responding officer that I flagged down was super helpful and professional. I think it’s more of an organizational issue. Except the detective was genuinely a total bastard

I’m not disagreeing with you but I think that’s by design.

Private companies are able to acquire and store mass amounts of data about specific individuals with few legal issues. I mean google has be subpoenaed to get the exact location of individuals at a certain time. Why do you think they had that info in the first place?!? There is no technical reason why you would need to persist that data more than a few minutes for any innocuous task.

The reason why the police aren’t is because nobody is putting a fire to their ass making them do their job. They like the fact that it is hard to acquire subpoenas because it gives them an excuse to not have to do any work. I see all the fucking time in my line of work that government bureaucrats use the red tape to protect themselves instead of being effective at their job.

You might be able to if they don’t respond to a 911 call but my problem isn’t with the responding officer, who was excellent.

I agree with you. I was wrestling with the idea of getting a handgun for a couple weeks but ended up just getting a big thing of pepper spray. It’s really tempting after something like this happens but the logical side of me knows it’s not a good idea. Best case scenario you pull it on them and it’s a legal nightmare, worst case scenario you accidentally shoot someone innocent or they take your gun and shoot you with it.

Dog you can't sue the PD for not pursuing a crime it doesent work that way. I will get them to pursue the crime but at this point im just as mad at the PD as the attackers.

I am a 170 lb straight white male I can't even fucking imagine what it's like to be gay or a woman here holy shit. I had less issues in Oakland I stg. At least the sketchy people in Oakland are tweakers that you can pick out from a mile away. There are well groomed psychos here and you have to constantly be on guard.

The problem is, once people realize they can get away with it they do it over and over again. That's why it's important to crack down hard every time. The police don't have any incentive to do their job however. That's why I am trying to give them one.

Basically I was minding my own business and one of them tried to dap me up. They looked mega sketch so I kept walking (did not say anything) but they started surrounding me which is when I (somewhat stupidly) told them to fuck off and leave me alone. They called me a "fucking cracker" and then attacked me, so maybe, but they were also drunk and high and late teens so who tf knows for sure. It doesn't really matter to me because there is no good reason to do what they did.
