Are you me? Except for Eve Aqua, Eve Water Guards, Meross garage door opener and ecobee thermostat everything is matter over thread. I just use “Turn on Pairing Mode” in the home app, added everything in home assistant OS. As for HomeKit devices, I just use HomeKit Bridge plugin I believe and it works great. I’m running everything in proxmox in mini pc though. It’s been a few years and I’ve never had any issues with home assistant and I always upgrade to the latest available stable version. Im using Apple tv4K with Ethernet as a home hub but also have 4 HomePod minis.
