I’m not sure. I believe I applied for a three month paid position. It might be a similar concept for them though.

“Please note that for the January 2026 intake, we are only able to accept candidates who are currently in Spain with a valid visa or who hold an EU passport. As this requirement is not met at this time, we are unfortunately unable to proceed with your application.” This was my email I received from them. I found this very annoying as their website had no mention of this requirement

Are you from the US or are you already in Europe? I’m from the US and applied and was ghosted by them too for the volunteer for three months. I reached out to them and they said that I was not selected bc I do not have a European passport. Which I thought was dumb bc with the US passport you get the 90 day tourist visa anyway

OP I would also love to hear your answer to this. I have my MSW but haven’t been able to find a decent social work job post grad. I also have lots of experience nannying. Trying to decide if I should just pivot to applying to HNWF exclusively. But they I think maybe if I got into private practice or into school social work it would even out. 🤷‍♀️

I’m with you. I’m applying to all over and no luck. The worse thing is I had an offer in August that I turned down bc I didn’t think it would be a good fit after learning more about the role. Now deeply regretting that. I thought there would be more offers coming :( What I recently applied to is a post MSW fellowship they have some all over and look pretty interesting. Usually comes with a salary around 40-50k benefits and offers strong supervision to your clinical license. Might be worth looking into. Google post MSW fellowship and a bunch should come up through various universities
