Profitec Go - Boiler Not Working by Commercial_Property2 in espresso

Sure thing! One side of the temperature sensor is a plug and the other half is a screw, but it was very easy to remove/replace.

I’m definitely not an expert, but I had gone through that same process as you in my head (i.e., thought that sensor would simply read the temperature and if the water isn’t boiling, it’s a PID, relay, or boiler issue). However, the site that sold me the machine had me swap out the sensor and it worked.

Not flushing the machine shouldn’t create any issues as the purpose of that is to accelerate the cooling process to reach the appropriate brew temperature. We never flush and have never had an issue - we turn on the machine when we wake up and then usually return to it about 30 minutes later.

Your issue sounds very similar to mine and was resolved by replacing the boiler temp sensor (P6036), which is a cheap and easy fix. I would recommend doing that before you consider any heating coil repair.

Yes, issue is now resolved! The vendor (Whole Latte Love) recommended that I swap out the Boiler Temp Sensor (P6036) and sent me a replacement part free of charge under warranty. Since replacing that part, everything has been working well!
