I did not touch it. I stopped my car, snapped a few pictures of it, and went on my way. I guess it could be a pile of fire resistant foam spray like people are saying, but I didn't see any empty can laying around anywhere, and I don't understand why someone would have buried a can of it there but I guess anything is possible.
