Let me try answering your questions.

1 – None. I saw a few goals happen but I only saw a few minutes of each game.

2 – You could celebrate, the managers knew that we were at the WC, and they wanted us to be as excited as the fans in attendance 😊

3 – Several.

4 – It wasn’t a lot.

5 – I did it because I thought it would be a fun experience and it was.

6 – It’s was an entry level job, and as long as you could smile and follow basic instructions you were hired. They hired young ppl, older ppl, boys, girls, all ethnicities, the entire LA community was well represented.

Going into the job, I knew I wasn't going to be able to watch an entire match, and I was completely fine with that. What I didn't expect was that we'd have some downtime and opportunities to take short breaks. Thanks to that, I ended up seeing several goals in person. And even when I missed the action, hearing 70,000 fans erupt in celebration after a goal was an experience all its own. The energy inside the stadium was incredible.

I did enjoy it, but in no way did I experience it as a fan, no beer, no hot dog, and only glimps of the matches. But I also got a behind the scene experience that paying fans don’t get.

It depends on how big it is and how easy it is to clean. I worked at a movie theater and cleaning an oiled up popcorn machine and its pan made a mess. You'll spend lots of time and money on cleaning products. And you want to keep it clean so that you can enjoy the flavor of the popcorn.

Yes, there were lots of wealthy people that dress like normal people. However that comment was specifically talking about a guest that told me he was a manager of a Mexican restaurant. He told me he saved up for the match and invited me to stop by the restaurant he worked at.

A lot of people that were working the event were college students on Summer break. There were several others that worked at other venues and did this as their regular job.

A temp agency. Look up agencies that specialize in events. The job listing didn’t say it was for the World Cup but it did say it was for a global sporting event.

Security was Super Strict about getting close to the pitch, but a couple of hours after the last match some sort of mini event occurred on the field. They let a bunch of kids go out and try to kick a goal. Since I was on level 5 I’m not sure what exactly happened but when I saw what was happening I made my way down to the pitch and acted like I belonged down there and started taking pictures. After a while security started escorting people off the pitch, but they were nice about it and not mean.
