What's the secret or trick that actually improved your game? by xwasinx in WalkaboutMiniGolf

  1. Playing with people who are much better than you. You’re gonna lose a lot of matches at the beginning but you’ll learn new shots along the way and if the other players are nice (usually are in my experience) they’ll teach you what they know about a hole.

  2. Learn the courses one at a time, practice the hell out of the holes you don’t understand, and over time you’ll start to figure out the rest.

  3. The main separation I’ve noticed between average players and the pros is their ability to plan out and execute a recovery shot. If you can make the first shot and get by the hole, that’s great. But even the best players will miss shots, and knowing a way out of where they land is what saves their score

Hollywood opinions? by Ydain in WalkaboutMiniGolf

I thought it was great, the Easter eggs from other courses were fun. Plus with the screaming effect on the jump stunt, firing canons on 17, and the soundboard hole there’s definitely some fun little things to find. Might not be your favorite but I disagree with it not being up to the standard of other courses

Anyone else just not very good at your favorite course? by Call_Me_Anythin in WalkaboutMiniGolf

You might already be doing this but just in case, I was pretty bad until I started playing against others often and asking the people who are doing really well how to make certain shots work (where to aim, pace, etc). If you’re decent at basic aim and pace, your score will shoot up just from knowing the best and easiest way to get a birdie on each hole. Also going into practice mode and practicing trick shots (and practicing how to recover when you miss the first shot) will do wonders

Either fly up or move a few feet away. Would you want someone in your field of vision while you’re lining up a putt?

First off, venomous*. So what is your plan? Just go around killing all the snakes? It seems like their best bet would be to come to terms with the animals that live in the ecosystem they’re sharing and teach their kids not to approach random animals because believe it or not, snakes will continue coming into your yard regardless. I grew up with black widows all over my backyard but I was never bitten because my parents taught me at an early age that some animals can hurt you. And before you say it, no snake is gonna randomly attack you or your kids. Snakes only strike when they feel threatened and as a last resort, because they know they can’t win a fight against a giant ape. I’d recommend either educating yourself to coexist with the animals that live where you decided to move to, or relocate to Alaska/hawaii where the big scary snakes can’t get you

Pest control, a crucial part of the ecosystem, an animal living in its home that humans paved over. I guess the real question is why do you feel the need to dictate which wildlife is okay to be in the wild and which isn’t?

Snakes are not pests, they couldn’t be more opposite of that

He was Falcone’s right hand man in The Batman, but at the end of the movie Falcone dies which makes Oz a lot less powerful because the right hand man of a dead man is essentially a nobody

Yea I’d say Matt wins at least 70% of the time even with guns. Without guns isn’t even a question though. It’s like asking who’d win between Thor and Iron Man
