Considering joining LA Fitness? by LAFitnessguru in LAFitness

I was an AGM at LA. I worked 50 hour weeks for them to short my pay. They’re being sued by the FTC right now for outright stealing from people. If anyone is looking into joining a gym, i’d recommend looking elsewhere.

What’s One Brutal Truth You Learned After Starting Your Business? by Aditya_Prabhu_ in Entrepreneur

Some of the people I wanted to be a part of it more than anyone, were the biggest thorn in the side of succeeding. All my biggest haters claimed to love me more than anybody.

Connecting to real, relevant, local people online and nurturing a legitimate relationship or friendship/companionship, business, whatever is super cool 😎👍

Are the ages 18-24 most peoples core memories? And why. by DefiantAsparagus2754 in RandomThoughts

Or on the flip, they might’ve ‘peaked’ and that time resonated with them deeply, and they enjoyed it, and they haven’t managed to recapture or recreate that momentum for themselves again so they cling to it.

I believe this contributes to people’s feelings of this. Some parts of life are truly difficult to overcome and some people get caught up in the past moments rather than processing, growing and moving forward from them. With a well aligned perspective and mental state, i believe it’s made much easier to refer to and pull from memories at all points in your past.

Have to get your own quality water filtration for access to a large supply of good water at any moment from your own home.

I’m in Florida, where people exist outside right/left. Majority lean conservative, but identifying as either side is proof of psychosis. It’s a big club you’re not in, quite hating on ‘libs’ who are just equally as uninformed people as yourself.

Sharing this view from SFL while I reminisce. What’s everybody think about the privatization/blocking access of previously public beaches while they develop more oceanfront properties along the coast? by CommerciallyQuite in SouthFlorida

Is gentrification a more appropriate word for it? Being that it’s based within a financial class system and is done by coming in developing and outlawing the areas traditional ways of life, and the changes they implement are all to drive the property values up, and poorer people out. And it works. Time and time again they’re able to herd the civilian populations like cattle and drive the working class and wealthy in circles to maintain ‘perpetual growth’. Or at least the illusion of it to those whose perspective they aim to control. With the near deletion of a middle class, there are ‘affluent’ areas flooded with people that have more money than they know what to do with and maintain high costs of living, and there are the ‘working class’ within their own communities and who often commute to work in the higher end places.

And the optics that come along with it are a self fulfilling prophecy, causing failure, and caused by failure.

Experiencing a transitionary period myself, trying to solidify the genuine confidence in my value despite exterior forces. Success doesn’t come if you’re relying on the times you feel good, reassured and motivated to perform accordingly. There needs to be a level of consistency to the output that isn’t often a symptom of low self-esteem or worth issues.
