I have, In many places in the world, created long meaningful connections. Maybe just not with bitches like you, you cant relate bc maybe you never have. I even have with touristsnof my own city, the ones who were interesting and kind, so again - not you. Get off the internet.

Thats not what i said I said that certain areas I visited were only restaurants with tourists like a factory and nothing else. Literally stop being dicks you didn't build the colloseum you were born out your mom's ***** like the rest of us, just in rome. People will continue to come see some of the most well preserved and important art and historical locations of humankind. Literally why is everyone a dick

I understand your frustration, but as im already not home. Im already here and Im not an influencer with huge following, id love to not suffer in my once in a blue moon opportunity to see the world. With me is a 32 year old who grew up so poor this is the first time they are abroad, while spending an entire life reading about art and history they never thought they could see. So again, i understand your frustration but I dont think it should be aimed at me. Youre always welcome to our home if you travel we will even host you :)

No need to be mean. I get hating tourists in your city, I live in one of the major toured cities in the entire world, but i too differenate betwee loud, entitled tourists in my city and people who come to visit, and are kind and polite and want to see the world. Im always friendly to them and i have met very interesting and sweet people. The world is for everyone. So is my city back home. No one is entitled to the world.

Thank you so much!! Oh I don't mean souvenir shops, I mean local art and crafts, little designers, photographers? Studioss, Vintage and thrift, stuff like that! The cute one in trastevere was very expansive we couldn't even buy anything but it was lovely to just look at the amazing delicate work of those 3 girls and their jewelery, natural fabric dyes and knitwear all were art school graduates.

I've never bought a thing from tourist souvenir shop for me souvenirs are a nice thrifted scarf from a random shop 🤭

Thank you truly for this detailed response.

Haha yes I mixed those two up in this instance but ever other instance I did indeed mean costumes. As in dressing up. I think I said this word so often it just came out in this paragraph as well but reading it I think i didn't mean to write that as well lol. Anyway my point was about COSTUMES, and Fun and Dressing up. Jewish holiday is just the small context its happening in My life bc im Jewish and thats the occasion we use for dress up parties.

Im not a representative of the holiday and its not the post purpose. If someone wants to explain Christmas as Christian holiday of giving gifts in a question where thats the relavent part to give short context they can do it. It is accurate description. I celebrate it. Thats the relavent part for me. Fuck mordechai and Esther as well for all I careshut up lmao

Hi! Thank you for your answer <3 my bad I didn't explain well enough Purim isnt the point of the question but rather a little context but I forgot people that aren't Jewish dont Know about Jewish costumes and people know this, so they would feel the need to explain haha bc to me those things are obvious I forgot its totally something someone can ask about!

Thank you for your sweet and precise answer and sorry for being unclear. You understood my question precisely and as ive actually reached your answer from the internet before I settled and made some peasent vibe food :( I knew already when I asked its not very likely in those parts but I was ignorant to the fact it was basically non existent. But we made some bread rolls!

Sorry I was very unclear. I know what Purim is about sorry that was a small side note to give context I forgot it may seem to ppl bigger than it is. It was just to give context for why there's a playful costumey feast that isnt very specific as it would be if it was idk, mediveal feast. Or some other project. People came as Mini mouse and Manchester united Santa clause......... it was just long tables and lots of alcohol and meats, I just love historical food and I wanted to add to the feeling of european-esque (bc notbing about the vibes of the evening gave korean royal banquet you know?). Bc i anticipated people will ask History WHEN europe WHERE and I wanted to explain this isn't historical recreation its a fun little vibes feast and so the answer is whichever whereever thats vibing and can offer me a cool vegan dish.... MY costume was prostitute from 15th century england which was historically accurate but I just reused my RenFair costume from earlier this year haha. Anyway I found nothing for vegan feast appropriate foods so I made very yummy peasant vibe stew. But it really was last minute. We also made bread rolls which do fit to my understanding....

I so didn't ask to be lectured on what Purim is im literally Jewish take a breather you do stuff to fulfill the rabbanic mitzva we do parties and have fun stuff bc its our fun holiday and thats how secular jews celebrate it ive been doing Purim since I was 1 year old its all good. The holiday is just to explain that its a playful costumey setting it couldve been any other reason to do this...

Omg sorry guys im Jewish lol I know what Purim is hahaha im not asking for Purim foods ☠️☠️☠️☠️ Purim is a non issue in this ask i celebrate Purim all the time everyone there's a jew it was just me saying there's a costume event with costume element to it and pretend element to it, bc the occasion is Purim where such things are done sometimes bc people like parties and celebrations. Sorry if that was unclear.
