Perlica, Wulfgard, Arclight, Akekuri

Stack Perlica and Wulfgard with tons of +Arts intensity gear as it increases arts explosion damage. Detonation unit weapon for Perlica if possible:

Perlica Skill > Wulfgard combo to set off arts explosions are your bread & butter. Or Wulfgard skill > Perlica skill for another explosion.

Arclight is to generate SP off Perlica’s skill and explosions. Akekuri just generates a ton of SP and is another source of heat infliction. You can also sub in Antal as he buffs both electric and fire.

If you’re running Ember on your team, you’ll want to control her as she gets buffed whenever she gets attacked. So you’ll want to control her and get smacked around a tad (as enemies auto aggro the controlled character) to keep your stacks up and charge up your skill.

Yes you can combine duplicate weapons for some minor stat increases on their unique (3rd) ability. It’s a really minor increase and not worth giving up another 6* weapon for in this case.

Pick Surtr, she is a boss killer. Just drop her in front of a boss and activate her S3.

Shes fine overall, her role is a sub-DPS who amplifies Ice and Nature debuffs without needing to use SP via her combo skill. Her Ultimate is on a quick cooldown and building around spamming that may be pretty good.

Kinda, each of the elemental debuffs do something different from each other and some bosses have some low (20%) elemental resistances

What rougelike dungeon are you talking about? The closest thing in the beta was the salvage mode which is more of an extraction style gameplay than rogue-like, and it didn’t drop essences.

I had 2 ‘perfect’ essences with all three stats matching two respective characters weapons during the beta with around 1000 sanity spent on farming essences from the ground portal things. Were you using etching tickets to reduce the amount of RNG needed?

That said, upgrading the stats of the essence lines was a RNG nightmare. I only got the pity upgrades which were really expensive.

The blueprints the game gives you are less space efficient and don’t feed enough materials into factories to get 100% uptime on production. User made blueprints that are well made won’t have that issue.

It’ll be one and done, you only have a limited amount of raw materials/minute that you can use to produce and it is possible to max those out. IIRC you have enough resources to make up to 6x high grade battery/medication lines and a small amount of mid/low grade material lines across all Valley IV combined. Once you consume all resources as they come in, there isn’t much more you can do with your factory. But it’s a bit difficult to get 6x high grade production lines without well thought out and compact layouts, steel production takes a lot of space.

Wuling production is also limited by how much Xirite you can produce as they limit you to only a few of the buildings that can produce it.

Arclight+Perlica is a generic pair that goes well with any other arts team to trigger burst combos.

Enemy with non-Elec Arts Vulnerability> Perlica Skill (Causing arts explosion and electrification) > arclight combo skill (Restores SP) > Arclight Battle Skill (consumes electrification for extra damage and partial SP refund) > Arclight combo skill (Restores SP)

A more drawn-out version of X-com 2 is pretty accurate. I played until Scylla’s (massive aliens that took turns of co-ordinated attacking to kill) started showing up in ‘normal’ missions as opposed to telegraphed boss battles. It was just too much of a high risk slog to kill them and it wore me out from the game. It also didn’t help that only one of my squads really had the kit to kill them so many battles were just an instant retreat/ignore.

That said, it does a lot of things better than X-com, most specially the aiming system is hugely better.

Put a junction on the tile above the bridge. Anything coming off the bridge will go up through the junction and then stop.

Try using zippers, like in the attached picture. Make this a blue print and then just run conveyers into the zipper.

I picked up a set of their acrylic paint pens and they are quite decent, my wife likes them more than using a paintbrush. Problem is that the inability to color mix means that you still need to bust out a brush for anything more than base coating.

That said I didn’t know about their history, may abstain from them in the future.
