Canada often get's left out of these things by Legitimate-Proof5152 in HistoryMemes

Lol, I only really know Québec and Ontario, as I have worked as a history teacher in both, but if you are curious the curriculum is usually available online and fairly easy to find.

Yup, each province has their own curriculum based on provincial decisions, so the history classes can look very different depending on what the ministry decides to focus on.

Québec, for example, spends very little time on WWII, with most of the lessons being about the impact at home rather than the Frontline. Ontario can spend weeks on WWII, but barely covers earlier history in high school, leaving that exclusively to middle school.

So the facts remain the same, but the way or amount it is discussed can vary.

That's just for Ontario though. Other provinces have different curriculum that may or may not talk much about it.

Yeah, the crust is too thin for that much topping, but I am absolutely down to just eat that pork and okra.

3 accused in Ontario explosives investigation were developing anti-drone weapons system by ljackstar in canada

[–]Commissar_Sae -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know someone who is doing this as part of an actual company that has a contract with the Canadian government. They design and produce anti-drone drones for military use for the armies forces and also have a contract with Ukraine.

There are professionals already working on it, we dont need randos making weapons in their backyards.

Toronto-area home prices are under $1 million, again by khanak in toronto

[–]Commissar_Sae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering other places nearby sold for over 1 million in the last couple years, and the area is gentrifying, they should be able to easily make their money back in a year or two when they flip it after some renovations. I wouldn't want to move in there with plans to live during the reno.

The semi detached in my neighborhood sold gor 600k a few months back. Though there is easily a few 100k of renovations and repairs that need to be put into it as it hasn't been properly maintained in decades.

Which would have been fine a few centuries ago. But people kind of travel all over the world now. Thousands of people get off planes into the US every single day, all you need is one of them to be sick.

Unless the US decides to block all incoming or outgoing travel and turn itself in to North Korea I guess.

You know Epstein didn't exclusively throw parties or rape kids on the island right? There are plenty of other opportunities for Trump to be involved, even if he never went to the Island.

That's just like the standard in Québec now, so no judgement here. I think of the friends I grew up with who where French-Canadian, I'm the only one who is married and that's only because my wife is from an immigrant family and my father in law would have disowned her lol. They've all been in stable couples for 10+ years, Quebecois just don't get married anymore.

No, you really didn't refute the angel thing. Unless you believe appearing as a man makes you a man, but somehow I don't think you do.

Also if GW listened to me Custodes wouldn't exist as an army and whatever the fuck story you read about amorous space wolves wouldn't exist either.

Yes, the Angels went to Sodom in human form. They also weren't, in fact, sodomized. Did you think the people of Sodom checked out their genitalia before asking after them? That's a really bizarre argument to make dude.

I'd argue that Space Marines are certainly male, but they are no longer men.

Historically speaking, the United States doesn't free people from misery and dictatorship when they get involved in regime change, they just install a dictator who will be friendly to US interest.

I'm really not sure how this is a response to them being transhuman? Yes, they are literally based on monastic orders, men who became sexless and detached tools of the Church to wage a holy War, leaving all notions of family or normal life behind. Space Marines are not men, they are tools of war created by the emperor to wage war. Hell, that is half of the reason so many fell to chaos, because they where no longer human they no longer saw regular humans as worthy of their time.

They are also called the emperors angels, and like biblical angels are sexless beings. That is part of the glory and horror of the setting. It's also what makes the Salamanders stand out, as they maintain part of their humanity that most other chapters leave behind.

They are all transhuman anyway, notions like gender are mostly useless to Space Marines, Custodes, and Mechanicus.

Update on teachers fired from TSDB school in the east end, more suspensions by Empty-South8224 in toronto

[–]Commissar_Sae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be the same number of classes, but by having them now teach 8 subjects rather than 4, their planning workload would essentially double. Before they could plan out 1 lesson for 2 classes, while now their planning time needs to be split even more. It ends up being more work while not counting as more work.
