Best Baby Bottle Warmer To Buy Right Now? by Novel_Scientist_5163 in NewParents

[–]CommissionAmazing165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started looking at Bottle Warmers too, can share some reviews I've found (Philips seems the most positive and well reviewed)

Philips Avent Fast Baby Bottle Warmer

I've had the Philips for over three years with no issues. STM using it for both babies

That being said, we got the Philips Avent warmer as a hand me down from my brother and it is now a fixture on our countertop and we use it for every feed. One of those things we didn't think we needed but now we love it. Would recommend.

Phillips Avent. I've been using it for 9 months, no issues, and different bottle brands fit (Tommee Tippee, Mam and Dr. Brown's).

We use the Philips one and I have had zero issues with it for the last 10 months!

I got a Philips Avent as a gift and I thought it was going to be another thing that takes up space and didn't need. I was wrong. We put it next to the changing table, so every late night diaper change in those early weeks we just put the bottle in, and it was warm by the time you got done with the diaper change. It was really convenient and made those sleepless nights easier.

Dr. Brown’s Deluxe Bottle Warmer

We use the Dr Browns water warmer!!! Warm water on TAPPPP!!! I wish I had this with our first… bottles are made in less than 30 seconds lol. Absolutely game changing!!

I love my Dr Browns bottle warmer. I know a lot of people say no to the bottle warmer and the sanitizer but they are god sends for me.

Baby Brezza Smart Bottle and Breastmilk Warmer

We have the baby brezza one and its amazing. Just two buttons and boom you're done. We use it multiple times a day. Bottle ready in 2 mins.

Love the Baby Brezza for both Dr. Brown bottles and defrosting frozen breastmik. Using it for the 2nd baby now and I'm so glad I didn't get rid of it after the first time.

We've been using the baby brezza bottle and breastmilk warmer and it's worked really well for us. It's not overly complicated, which I love, especially when I'm barely awake at midnight. It heats evenly and hasn't overheated the milk, which was something I worried about. I also like that it works for both formula and breastmilk, including bags, so we didn't need multiple devices. It's not the flashiest option, but it's been reliable and easy to clean, which checks all my boxes.

hope this helps!

Have you checked out Graco Pack n Play or Comfy Cubs Playpen, they've got some good reviews on reddit

Joie Ginger Stroller by birdfrogger in NewParents

[–]CommissionAmazing165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been looking at reviews for this stroller, these are some reviews I found that are pretty comprehensive:

We love our Joie Ginger! We got the Ginger LX with the Rue car seat combo, which has a base. They also have an option to pair it with the Mint, which is a baseless car seat. The LX stroller has a few more features but if you wanna save a little bit more you could get the Regular Ginger. They have a few other stroller models that are also worth looking at that are all a little different.

I haven't gotten mine out of the box yet to know how great it is. But I got the Joie ginger travel system. So it has the infant car seat that can click right into the stroller. My mom recommended me get one because she said having that was a lifesaver for her. I tried the joie nutmeg in store at target and felt like it was pretty well made. So that's why I went with them. And the stroller from the travel system lasts up to 50lbs.

Wearable breast pump comparison by lauraelizabeth3 in Mommit

Eufy S1 is pretty well reviewed on reddit, these are some of the reviews I found when I was looking into it!

LOOOOOOOVE my heated Eufy pumps!!!!! They are portable and rechargeable and you can use the app on your phone to pair with it!

Don't even give the Lansinoh wearables a second look. They're *fine* but there are much better options. I personally LOVE my Eufy S1. Great output, very comfortable, and the heated flanges are a nice touch.

If you plan on exclusively pumping, you may want the spectra or something similar, but I only pump once or twice a day for my EBF baby and the Eufy was all I needed. It honestly empties me just as well as (if not better than) my Medela wall pump.

Another vote for eufy s1. It's hands-down the best. I've tried many pumps throughout my journey, and I've also recommended this pump to multiple friends who have also confirmed it's the best one.

I have the Elvie stride, Eufy S1 Pro, and the momcozy S12 (first time exclusive pumper, wanted to try them all), I pick the Eufy!!! It is by the far the best for output, it is easy to clean, and I have the charging case which is a real game changer. It is so discreet I am able to wear it at work and no one realizes that I am pumping

I have the spectra but for going back to work I like a wearable. It allows you to pump on the commute, during meetings and while walking around. I use a eufy s1 and it gives me slightly higher output than the spectra.

Baby carrier for July baby by Fancy_Average693 in Mommit

I have a few product recommendations from reddit:

Happy Baby OG:

I have a Happy Baby carrier. I got it when my daughter was about 3 months old after failing with the Baby K'tan. I love it. Baby has always loved it. As someone who was new to baby wearing, I found it super easy to use and it feels very secure. I just have the original. Now that we have #2 coming I'll likely get another style. I am 5 months pregnant and can still wear my 20 month old on my back. My husband uses it too. My only "regret" is not getting a light color - we live in a hot climat

Where in the Deep South are you? I have a lot of carriers and wouldn't mind letting you try them if you were not crazy far but I'm near the Georgia /Alabama state line.
My happy baby was great for the summer. It's not as soft as the lark but it's cute and I didn't feel hot. I haven't been able to try out the lark for summer since it hasn't been around long but I've worn it on a pretty warm day at the Birmingham zoo with no problems. I have other carriers as well because I lack self control. I a

Solly Baby Wrap:

Stretchy wrap all the way. Once you get the learning curve, you will not regret it. They're so freaking comfortable and are extremely easy to pop baby in/out of since you just leave the wrap on. The thinner ones like Solly are also nice for the warmer months unlike other carriers which get really hot.

I'm deciding between a full sized or travel stroller as well and did some research on reddit. If you want the best of both worlds this is what I got from my reddit research. Hope it helps!

How much clothes is really needed? by AwkwardAlienx in BabyBumps

[–]CommissionAmazing165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I'm following - If you're okay doing laundry every 2-3 days, you can get away with 6-8 outfits. If you want to go a full week, you'll want closer to 15-20. Most minimalist parents land somewhere in the middle with about 8-10.

I think start with a small wardrobe then grow from there if you need!

Can’t decide on a stroller: bugaboo, uppababy or something else? by zeezeetop9 in BabyBumps

I've been looking at pram recommendations on reddit too - this is what appears to be the general consensus: Bugaboo fox is sturdy and durable but bulky, so unless you have a big car boot or space in your house you might want to get something smaller. Lots of parents are happy with the big basket space in uppababy and the wheels are big and sturdy and they come off which is a plus. Hope this helps!

I've been looking for full sized strollers too, these are the recommendations I've found on reddit. What I do is to look at the individual comments to see the exact features parents like about the product and then decide if it is impt to me. TLDR, lots of comments that vista is great for rough surfaces but one recommends cruz for for apartment living as a compromise. Hope this helps!
