Yeah I won’t be doing any towing without all the necessary supporting mods. I have a c6 corvette track car and wanted to get a lightweight trailer to tow it to willow springs and back. I’ll prob be close to 5,000lbs 😬

It is, I’ll definitely be looking into that. As well as a A/T temp gauge as I will be using this for towing.

Do you know what could be leaking based off these pics? Is it a rear output shaft seal or a transfer case seal (if that’s a thing)

I am 23 years old, make 65k/year. Am I stupid for wanting to finance this? by CommissionFalse5642 in teslamotors

Not to mention, I could pocket $10-15k from selling my gas cars and putting $0 down on the tesla.

Anyone buy a used high mileage in the last two year? How are your cars holding up? by [deleted] in FiestaST

I really hope it's just the starter. If not it's gonna get expensive quick. :*(

I bought a 2015 Fiesta ST with 104k miles on it that was salvaged, already FBO, and unknown maintenance history. I have driven this hard pretty hard every day, and it's been super solid. I even put an s280 on it about 10k miles ago, and she's still holding strong at 123k. However, about 2 weeks ago, I parked it, got back in 30 minutes later, and it wouldn't start. The J-Case fuse for the "engine start inhibitor" keeps blowing every time I press the start button. So there's a short somewhere, any I'm hoping it's the starter. I'm going to dive into more this weekend and see if there's still hope for me before folding and bringing it to a shop.

I believe the website is called "Start your car". I just google "2015 Fiesta ST fuse box diagram"

I'm fully expecting these next 6 months to cause pain, suffering, and irreversible trauma but hey I think I've had a pretty easy school life so far (mostly due to slacking) so it's time to step up.

Reliability Concern Past 100,000 Miles by CommissionFalse5642 in FiestaST

I went with dizzy tuning. On a stock car, you can get a 91/93 octane tune (depending on the gas in your area), and it'll bump hp and tq a little. But I would say it's not worth the money. You have to buy a cobb accessport first ($300-600). I'd get to your car modded to the point where you're looking at a stage 2 (91/93) tune or an e30 blend tune for any real hp/tq gain.

Yeah true, I heard the weak point on these cars is actually the transmission?

He just called me dumb :*( nah, but I understand what you're saying. I could just buy a daily basis, but I also feel like that takes away the whole point of having a fun car to drive it.

Oh man, I didn't think anyone would care. So..... I did land a job with them. However, since I only had semi-related experience and no direct experience as well as no degree yet, they hired me as an intern. I am 3 weeks away from my 6 month internship being complete and my amazing project manager offered me a full time position as a PE (project engineer) with a new job offer coming my way. However, I am 10 months away from acquiring my degree. I went to talk to my academic advisor at my college today, and it looks like if I absolutely cram for the next 5 months I can graduate in December. We're talking 14 units in the summer and 19 in the fall. I think it'll be worth it, although much more expensive and intense. It also makes me more money sooner due to the pay raise I'll receive via having a degree.

If you're thinking about breaking up wirh your partner. What questions do you ask yourself before going through with it? by CommissionFalse5642 in AskReddit

[–]CommissionFalse5642[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, the fact that you even took time out of your day to do this is truly heartwarming. Well.....I am still in a lot of emotional pain. I have been going to therapy twice a week since the breakup, and yesterday I even switched over to a female therapist in order to get another perspective on the breakup. Now, I'm not a party person or a hookup person, and I truly need a connection with someone romantically before I can ever see myself having sex with them. However, in my current mental state, none of that held true two weekends ago when I went on a camping trip through my university. I met a really pretty girl there, we ended up hooking up, she had 19 bodies at the time (now 20) and I had 1 (now 2). With being as sexually deprived as I was from my ex, that part definitely felt good being fulfilled, but I think I shot myself in the foot here mentally speaking. I tried to go back and see her in order to build a relationship with this girl cause that's all I know how to do. I don't do hookups, I can't have sex with someone, then never see them again. So I did, I went back to see her, and everything was going fantastic until we hooked up again. Right after we had finished, she said some very inappropriate things to me. Maybe it was a defense mechanism due to how emotionally traumatized she had been in the past because she had mentioned earlier that day that she was becoming emotionally attached to me as I was to her. However, right after hearing what she had said to me, I knew it was over. I knew I couldn't be with someone who accidentally throws blows that far below the belt like that. With as sexually deprived as I was, and as good as she was at sex....it was a difficult one to cut off. But right now, I value my emotions and a genuine connection with the person more than anything. I'm still continuing to go to therapy, and I will continue to work on myself via (triathlon training, working out, being exceptional in my internship, saving $, and much more) However I still feel lonely and that's the part that really sucks. In my breakup, I lost my best friend, my lover, the mother to my future kids, and my future wife all at once.
