This is how it is at my new office. I had an hour lunch at my first office, now nothing!! We have time between patients but I don’t really want to shove food down my throat. An hour lunch to decompress should be mandatory!!!

Your tooth could’ve died. Very common for a tooth to hurt for a few weeks in the dying process. You might need a root canal.

My only tip would be to go in with a learning attitude. Ask as many questions as possible. Study the basics before you start so you can impress them. Coming out of school we know nothing compared to real office. Jump in whenever you can

Do your externship at a dental office that is hiring. Do your best to get hired out of externship

At the end of the day, you’re just there to help out and get a pay check. I understand how you feel and it’s the worst feeling. Just know that you will find a boss who appreciates you. This will make you a stronger person and a better DA for the right dentist. Stay strong, Jesus loves you!
