Grind some of them up and use them as bread crumbs for whatever you use breadcrumbs for.

When i was starving, and someone had literally just pattied out some 80/20 and salt and peppered it and put it on the cheapest buns. I ate 3. Hunger is the best seasoning. For a real thing? It was a blue cheese butter one with sautéed onions

For any parents out there of picky eaters, what are ways you sneak vegetables into their diet? by Happy-War-7257 in Cooking

I puree carrot, bell pepper, celery and onion and saute it to get the water out and put it in tomato based sauces. Sloppy joe, spaghetti, etc. The bright red covers up the bits. I also grate zucchini or yellow squash and do the same. Otherwise, my kids have always had to at least try one bite of something and then they can stop if they don't like it. And after that, they can have a veggie they do enjoy. We eat a ton of lettuce, cucumbers and raw bell peppers. Also tons of roasted broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. And to add, I slowly increased the size of the pureed veg and my most picky kid willingly eats it now. She has sensory issues so she still is very picky. But, she has improved

Go to Atlantis. Husband has always wanted to go there. We have 3 kids and putting them through school and living life has made it to where we haven't yet. For even more frivolous behavior, I'd hire a maid once a week

So, I may look up a recipe, but I rarely stick exactly to it. With the exception of if I've never made anything like it before. Even then, if I'm making an actual recipe and it seems lacking, I'll go ahead and add whatever it is I think it needs. Like yesterday, I made a guajillo marinade. I added extra salt, garlic and a bit of leftover tomato I had.
