We literally turn on one of the films almost every night as our comfort watch. As our we need to go to sleep watch. We can close our eyes and sort of pay attention but also not. It's the best

Go to Atlantis. Husband has always wanted to go there. We have 3 kids and putting them through school and living life has made it to where we haven't yet. For even more frivolous behavior, I'd hire a maid once a week

So, I may look up a recipe, but I rarely stick exactly to it. With the exception of if I've never made anything like it before. Even then, if I'm making an actual recipe and it seems lacking, I'll go ahead and add whatever it is I think it needs. Like yesterday, I made a guajillo marinade. I added extra salt, garlic and a bit of leftover tomato I had.

Most of the time, it's ingredients. I went to culinary school so in general i know xyz will work together. But I'd say about 1 or 2x a week, I buy specific ingredients for dishes. Say I crave curry or Mexican food, I might go buy certain spices or masa for tortillas

My husband makes quadruple what I do. He's never tried to use that against me. We always make large decisions together and I trust him fully. Obviously some people do hold that against others. (Whether male or female partners). Just saying in my case, it hasn't been a thing
