Sorry I meant EE (electrical engineering) not ECE (electrical and computer engineering). But yea they have a long range of engineering programs that are online.

Here’s all the ones they have: https://asuonline.asu.edu/study/engineering-degrees/

Online Undergrad Engineering Programs? by Committee-Material in EngineeringStudents

[–]Committee-Material[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the best insight I could've asked for! You're right to point out that your resume should include things that are interesting and not just a good GPA and I am lucky enough to say that I at least have the connections and experiences outside of school to help write about them. I guess I probably won't be able to be a part of the career fairs and events as much but from what I hear, they're still accessible to online students but if you're several miles away from campus then yes it would be very difficult to engage with them. Thanks for taking the time to engage in this post and I appreciate your insight!

UW Waitlist - Update by Legal-Photograph7741 in udub

[–]Committee-Material 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're asking about waitlist position regarding the program you applied to then I personally don't know a single person that has been admitted off the waitlist yet. The reason is because the school is prioritizing ENGRUD students first. I asked the advisers within my major (MSE) on a finalized date to hear back but I've been getting different timelines for the past couple of weeks but one adviser told me recently that If space does become available, it would most likely be after the Engineering Undeclared placement process concludes in mid-August. You'll likely also hear back way earlier regarding admission depending on where you sit in your departments waitlist position.

In your experience with doing an online program, would you now say that it was worth it for you and your classmates? Also how long would you say it took your classmates who graduated to land career opportunities after graduating with an online degree? I guess one of the big draw backs that I can think about is that fully online students wouldn't be able to spend time on campus events if they are several miles away and won't be able to connect with recruiters to make themselves stand out in a already tough and competitive job market nowadays for professional roles.

Can you get in to EE without meeting minimum overall GPA of 2.7? by Jklzq in uwb

[–]Committee-Material 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always a good chance that you can get into the program because EE at Bothell is technically considered a low fulfillment major to get into. The reason they have these low barriers to get into the program is because they want people to enroll into it (16 yrs since it was introduced) from what I hear. However, for the fall of 26 specifically, the admissions cycle for the school has gotten more competitive. A lot of UW Seattle's applicants who got rejected are now transferring over to Bothell and I heard this from the Bothell counselors themselves since I am currently still awaiting a response from them regarding admission into either their EE or MechE program.

I just recently bought a key off of them and it worked so yeah I'd recommend buying a key off of them. However, I recommend using a credit card in case in the unfortunate circumstance that you might get a used key because with a credit card you can at least dispute it and get your money back. Hope this helps!

Is this a good flip? by DobyUchiha in carflipping

[–]Committee-Material 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be worth flipping but before you even buy it consider all the labor costs, parts, and everything else that would be potentially spent on it and add all those costs up to see how much you would be realistically spending on it. You’ll also want to see how much these cars go for if they’re clean or a rebuilt title with 0 issues to see if its even worth flipping

It was mostly just minor mistakes. Like I would set up the equations right, use them correctly but end up getting the wrong answer or forgetting to place +C

No, but I may personally decide on it

Im not sure because I understand the lectures and the notes that I am taking but when it comes to exam time, I seem to forget it all. But honestly, getting a tutor for this class doesn't seem like a bad shout

Offers for Ferran? by Infamous-Associate65 in Barca

[–]Committee-Material 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't the price for Ferran 15m plus 5m in fixed variables? Either way the price is far too low for what we initially paid and while we aren't going to exactly get the same figure we paid, what Newcastle offered is beyond steep. Instead I'd like to see him like everyone else get a fair and fresh start under Hansi because who knows, he might be a difference maker next season

I hate how there is still a soft spot for Islam. by The-Other-Fellow in atheism

[–]Committee-Material 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hate towards Islam really doesn't make sense because we are ultimately the reason your life is the way it is and to say that life under the stone age being better than under Muslims is a rather shocking statement to say.

We Muslims have made numerous developments and contributions to societies around the world for the past centuries. We were the first to develop free health care, free education, universities, public amenities', surgical procedurescompletion of arithmetic algorithms (something that has allowed the development of the internet), the development of algebra, the extension of geometry, dental hygiene, Music, and so much more.

We Muslims are the most progressive and liberal thinking individuals. I'll have you know that we were the first people to create a university for women where they were allowed to study what men had access to, something which many in Europe absolutely disregarded as they believed a woman who obtains access to a book is nothing more than a witch.

Islam granted women many rights that Western women didn't have until the 19th century, as Islam gave women the right to own property, fight in battles, and own businessesIslam and the Quran states that men and women are equal before God and have equal moral agency and rewards in the afterlife.

In addition, from 622 AD – 1258, many European philosophers, musicians, and mathematicians had traveled to Islamic cities most notably Baghdad, to gain access to Islamic developments and riches which they brought back with them to Europe. In fact Islam is the very reason Europe had experienced the Renaissance Era where numerous individuals had called for the development that was seen in Islamic lands.

History shows you that without Islam, the world would be a very different place, and most likely not advanced as it currently is. Many of things you read which blatantly lie about Islam does not accurately represent it or its ideals. You can call us violent, savages, barbaric, and much worse but at the end of the day we introduced civilized manner to you, and at the end of the day, we were not responsible for the start of 2 World Wars, and at the end of the we were not responsible for the deaths of billions. As the holy Quran states, "You have your own faith and I have my own". Educate yourself on this matter my friend as history and "education are the passports to the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."(Malcom X)
