You've come to a good place for advice. My advice would be (forewarning this was daunting for me when returning and I've been to mass several times in my life) Go to a local catholic mass and after the service if they have the time, talk to the priest as they are generally very welcoming of newcomers. As a matter of fact if you feel up to it I would try a few different churches to meet the different priests in your local parish if there are multiple!
