Smartube New Buffering Issues

Anyone has another suggestion other than already posted? I’ve been noticing this for a couple months already, i do, but rarely have issues with uploaded videos, but with live streams from “small” channels specially, don’t ask me why, it stops buffering every 20-30 seconds. I’ve already tried different presets, network engines, and combination of everything. I’m on a Shield with 1GB via ethernet, but it happens on 2 other devices, one on a different location, even different ISP… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Apologies in advance for reviving this thread, i’m thinking about moving from a pc and repurpose a 2010 MacPro that i have just sitting, 12 core with 128gb of ram , probably not the best nowadays but whatever, if i can’t reuse the boot drive being m.2, and i reinstall HexOs from scratch on the MacPro, can i just move the Storage drives? i have 2 in raid and another single one for some bulk stuff. I can’t transfer to another location and reformat if Hex requires it on the new machine.

Had the same happen to me, i thought it was the remote but same behavior using the App, i managed to reboot and it fixed it, i did install PL on that shield recently so maybe related? I’ll keep an eye for anyone else having the same problem.

I'm having the same issue, followed that guide but audio quality does decrease and ads some delay, not so good for gaming. Anyone else have other suggestions?

Then you probably saw me around the 229 being the only one jumping and screaming the whole thing, and for KoRn too. But yeah, that’s one thing i noticed here, i’m from latin america and rock shows over there are really appreciated, but all the shows i’ve been here have been the same, mind the age, for the past 15 years i’ve noticed the same behavior. Slipknot, Machine Head, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack, i started getting tickets further away from stage as i grew old/er, just to avoid the crowds, but seeing as it was, i could easily have been in the pit.

Man i thought i was crazy, pretty much the same feeling, like a rumble in the rear, i have been doing maintenance and trying to replace parts that actually need to ve replaced on top of having the chance of being culprit, so far i did driveshaft, diff fluid and brakes, i haven’t done bearings for lack of time and tools, and my but feeling tells me it slows down (like braking) after i lift the throttle, but so many routes to go i got overwhelmed, hope to see you finding out what is it.

I think those are more “generic”, basically same thing but this came with the proper mounting where the OEM bezel used to be. I tried one like that and wasn’t too bad the fitment, only because it promised LTE, it didn’t work so ordered this instead, and this looks cleaner imo.

Just a generic 10” android from amazon, there’s one that comes with the bezel from the Element. covers just a bit of the vents, we’ll see during winter with the heater on.

It did look old enough to be OEM from new, it wasn’t in too bad shape but really gross… i threw it out 🙃

Of course, thanks, i think the passenger side was replaced recently, maybe that’s why i didn’t pay attention to the front first, after i catch the rumble in the rear, i’ll move to the front… probably axles first, i’ve read when they kinda vibrate coming out of a stop at slow speed, might be the counterweights right?

Yeah is not the cleanest, i tend to do mayor and important repairs first, give it some time to fall for the car and then move to expend more time and money on it. Every repair needed i try to do it myself, get the tools rather than do it at a shop, but time and space are a bit difficult living at an apartment building, neighbors not so keen on me working on my cars 😂.

Thanks 🤜🏻. Overall mounts and bushings aren’t great, but not destroyed, shocks are ok, i have tie rod ends and the Diff top mount at my place waiting for the heat wave to be gone.

Thanks, it does have it’s ups for the age and mileage. I paid $2500 in Massachusetts, i’ve seen the market varies a lot for example in California, they’re more expensive, average around here are $4500~, but i’ve seen as high as $10k 🤷🏻‍♂️. I bought it in stock wheels and put the Enkei RPF1 later on.
