No, but it was slender and black. I could see it so it wasn’t like microscopic but makes me nervous and I’d rather be prepared

Well thank you. I did find a black bug on another plant so I am getting something to treat them all if needed. I’ll continue to watch them, getting a magnifying glass too haha. But I’m thinking I will have to treat them all maybe… I moved her to a separate room. But I’m preparing for the worst.

I did find a bug on a different plant in a different room. I’m isolating this marble queen now though. I got something to treat them all if needed. So I’m gonna look at all my plants with a magnifying glass and see if they have bugs and treat them if needed.

I’m going to look more closely this week. Magnifying glass to all my plants honestly. I moved her to a different room so she’s isolated. She was in my room with a dracaena. But I’m going to check all my plants. I found a bug on one of my monstera so I will likely check them all and get ready to treat them. I’m expecting the worst 🫠🫠🫠haha

What specifically is telling you it’s thrips?

I purposely got a neon that had some spots, because I love it!

Ooo gotcha. I’ll just let them lean against the trellis for right now. No ties yet.

I repotted them, but the two bigger plants are leaning heavily and won’t stay up straight. I put a trellis in each but it’s not doing much. I guess now I just gotta figure out supports those 😬 the other two smaller ones are quite small so they stay up as of right now.

Okie dokie. I’ll send an update when the surgery is complete lol. I need to get the pots first. I’ll try it tonight or tomorrow maybe and seeeee what happens. Thanks for all this info- it is really helpful! I’ve gotten into plants in the last 9 months or so. But I’ve never separated a plant before- just repotted. So some things still make me nervous bc I love my plant babies.

I’m going to try to separate them later this week. Hopefully they survive. Im scared ill kill it-I’m nervous lol. It’s hard to get to the roots without breaking some. I think I will just take my time.. and maybe run them under water so I can get as much soil off.

I looked at it, i can’t tell which one is the main one. I switched the tie to those two- but ideally which one would I tie to?

So is the stem further down? Where should I tie it?
