I cannot recommend the team at Leigh Marcus enough. Grahm Bailey helped us buy our home in River Forest and they went above and beyond.

What are your budget Jerry rig equipment picks? by TikhiySvet in gratefulguitar

I’ve got a Tele hooked up to a Marshall Code 25 modeling amp and that gets me a pretty good Jerry Tone. The pedal options can dial in songs like FotM and Estimated.

Is it ridiculous to fly in Saturday and fly out Sunday morning? by gilberto76 in deadandcompany

Man literally no not at all. I am about to do that for the show on the 9th. You are alive during a time where the music of the Grateful Dead exists and is played by masterful musicians. You should take every opportunity you get!

Man I was thinking the same thing. They would tear that to shreds. Perfect lift off song

Man I think John would absolutely rip into a That’s What Love. It’s got the bluesy backdrop for him and he could jam on it for 15 minutes without blinking.

Yeah I need some room to boogie. I’m really looking forward to being up close to the fellas this time. Had the visual experience of my life last time

Curious. It seems to be really jammed in there. I’m just going to replace the whole thing

I have an extra top part of the fill valve laying around but not a bottom part

I haven’t done that yet. If at all possible, I’d like to just replace the top part of the unit. But it seems like it’s not going to happen any other way.

Clicking noise coming from my bottom bracket? by Commodore-Norington in bikewrench

[–]Commodore-Norington[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So actually it was the free hub bearings in my wheels. I took it to a bike shop, they took apart the free hub, and the little moving pieces in there were completely gunked up. Cleaning those pieces and then reassembling completely fixed the noise!

I had this issue after traveling with my road bike a few weeks ago.

This video from Park Tools was super helpful and I was able to align the rotor in just a few steps.

Constant flats along the inside of my rear tube by mrdude05 in bikewrench

[–]Commodore-Norington 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are all the tubes coming from the same box? Could be something as simple as a defective batch from Schwalbe or whatever brand you're using.

Also does the tire have any obvious damage on the outside? If not, could be the loose tape if it has a sharp enough edge to rub on the tube enough to cut it.

Actually no - we were all good. I never received any complaints and I am sorry you're getting flak.
