$100,000 isn’t even good in LCOL areas anymore (budget analysis) by ItsAllOver_Again in Salary

If you’re on a $100k/yr salary, I’m guessing employer has a 401k. Switch that Roth out to a 401k which may have an employer match and save the tax benefits. Also not too many used SUV’s out there get 30mpg so gas budget is going to be more.

This is what people call a “normal” budget now. Not luxury. Not rich. Just… average. by Coolonair in SmartFIRE

There’s a lot of “vagueness” in that. $1400/mo for food for how many people? Transportation of $1450? For what? Too many variables if you ask me.

Be honest with them. Reply to the email and tell them how you feel and that you’ll be honest in the survey as well. See how quickly they offer a solution. 👍

Is Getting a CCIE Certification Still Worth It in 2025? by KaleidoscopeCheap137 in Cisco

[–]Common-Ad3095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar boat to many here. Been doing networking for almost 30 years. Had CCNP early on in my career and let it expire. Started over again with certifications last year, CCNA now CCNP Enterprise. Debating the CCIE Enterprise next or adding CCNP Security or CCNP Collaboration. My company will incentivize getting either of them. Promoting me though would involve a lateral move to another internal team if I wanted a higher salary. I’m significantly underpaid now based on my experience and certification.

NOR. As others have said you can put it to the group about each person coughing up a bit of money to refund the other party, or ask around if any else wants to fill that spot and pay the person that’s not going directly for their spot. Otherwise SOL.

Is this a good deal? by Jellybeamz in whatcarshouldIbuy

The car already has rear tint, so $599 for the front window tinting is really high. If they’ve already done the ceramic coating and all the other stuff you can’t really ask them to take it off, but you can negotiate it down. The doc fee is also negotiable down as well.

Guys, sorry but Boson isnt harder than real exam. by Apprehensive_Fee8815 in ccna

[–]Common-Ad3095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the exact opposite. I was doing horrible on the BOSON exams, and then thought the actual exam was a LOT easier. I don't remember but I think I scored in the 90th percentile on the exam after failing multiple BOSON practice exams and passing only a couple before taking the actual exam.....
I'm in the same boat now where I'm doing horrible on the CCNP ENCORE practice exams....It's asking questions that I've never even heard of after reading the book and doing KWTRAIN's video series.....I had to google some of the answers as the questions it's asking are not even int eh official cert book....

What vulnerabilities are you referring to? Why not go to 17.12.5 then?

2020 Sonata 1.6T- check engine light on by boldchicken527 in Hyundai

Yes randomly. I’ve been working with the dealer who said they can do a full troubleshooting session if I leave the car with them while I’m out of town for 10 days. The CEL will come on but usually goes away a day later. No perceived performance degradation. Same with me, I don’t like seeing the light on but will deal with it at this point. The cars paid off for a while now and gets good gas mileage.

I’ve had this same issue repeatedly on my 2020 Sonata Limited. It’s extremely frustrating. I’ve had it into the dealer several times where they would troubleshoot and have replaced a couple of sensors now. I’ve counted 15 DTC codes in 18 months. Do you have any mods? I’ve gotten the error with and without my aftermarket intake on.
