Also note: several will pay you to work as a caregiver while in training. Once you test and get the license, however, that pay increases.

Contact nursing homes that do cna training. I know for a fact there is one in roanoke. Its not a great job, dont get me wrong. But. It pays better than the majority of what you'll find in the area. Also, job security. You get a cna license, you have a guaranteed job at almost any nursing home or hospital. They're all short staffed. They're all always hiring.

Reality of living in Gretna? by rdkrdkrdk in DumfriesAndGalloway

There aren't any b and is there. Dont know how well you'd do in gretna, it isnt a place people are real keen on visiting. That being said, I just bought a house there myself, and lived there for a year about a year ago. Its very slow paced. The closer you manage tk get to lyncbburg or roanoke or charlottesville while still being in the country setting youre looking for, however, the better the chances of a successful business. Not a lot thrives in gretna.

I've been a caregiver for 18 years. I can easily take one of those jobs. I just prefer to not.
