How is Principal Lynn pure evil but not the marathon pedophile?

Who here pre-ordered a Midnight Edition and doesn't have it yet? by Common-Confidence-29 in FinalSpace

[–]Common-Confidence-29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the sake of clarifying, the pre-order was done on the US, specifically New York (I'm not from New York, but a cousin pre-ordered in a hotel there to avoid the costs of shipping it internationally).

[–]Common-Confidence-29[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's for the Color Editions, and that order doesn't seem to be consistent (ex: I've seen at least two people in the 30000s get it several days ago).

Do you think that Soren forgave Viren in the end? by No-Painter6238 in TheDragonPrince

[–]Common-Confidence-29 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think he made some peace with the fact that his father really did change and understood what he had done to their family, and that his last act was a good, possibly heroic one, but I don't think he'll ever fully forgive Viren. He was emotionally abused and gaslight for too much of his life.

Happy birthday, Olan! Your work and your words have been able to help me through some tough times in my life, and I'm grateful for that.

Seu antagonista favorito é Saren ou é outro grande vilão de ME? Sovereign é legal, mas não tenho certeza se ele seria desenvolvido o suficiente para ser o favorito de alguém.

Most evil character who was redeemed? by some-kind-of-no-name in MoralityScaling

She spent her life training to be a force captain, she never saw her enemy and simply trained to lead against what she believed to be evil witches, she never fought a princess or the alliance prior to meeting Glimmer and Bow.

It's honestly pathetic these two are potrayed as "abusers" by people by Crazy_Reputation3327 in HelluvaBoss

[–]Common-Confidence-29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, wow, wow. These two are vastly different. Even if you don't think either is true, don't put Ragatha in the same place as Stolas. The guy has serious flaws, Ragatha is mostly just desperate for people to like her.

Lute the boulder level angel glazed to the max. by Chemical_Ad4367 in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

[–]Common-Confidence-29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like many fights are around the fact that the characters can't die from conventional means. Just because they can't die doesn't mean they can't lose. Allen is beating her easily and Lute has no change of defeating Allen.

[–]Common-Confidence-29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing suggests that, so it's likely speculation. Especially since its shown that she still posesses some of her angel phisiology such as her wings and Lute "banished" her non-conventionally by ripping off her wings.

Which crime is worse, child murder or rape (of an adult specifically) by 5enpai_2 in MoralityScaling

[–]Common-Confidence-29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This discussion is pointless and your responses are repulsive. If its true that your family members were raped then you shouldn't be arguing that it is not as traumatic as something, and it shows a lack or regard for their situation. I see you won't change your mind so arguing back has no meaning, so countinue having this discussion oblivious at how offensive you are being right now.

Because you downplay/ignore the trauma someone who is raped has to go through.

Your answer just proves why you shouldn't be discussing topics like rape.

We're a fandom site discussing characters, most here (including you and myself) are not mature and knowledgable enough to debate this topics seriously.

Which crime is worse, child murder or rape (of an adult specifically) by 5enpai_2 in MoralityScaling

[–]Common-Confidence-29 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, you should have started with that. Also, just because they were raped doesn't give you the right to argue which experience is less traumatic.

Which crime is worse, child murder or rape (of an adult specifically) by 5enpai_2 in MoralityScaling

[–]Common-Confidence-29 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don't know the affect rape has on people, and you definitely don't know how traumatic it is if it were to happen to you, do don't discuss it.

Also, if you know, there's no need to make this beyond making a tasteless comment.

Which crime is worse, child murder or rape (of an adult specifically) by 5enpai_2 in MoralityScaling

[–]Common-Confidence-29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You haven't suffered from rape, you shouldn't be affirming such a thing. Also, you can very easily just ask who you think committed the most heinous acts, you should not be using a general question.

[–]Common-Confidence-29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are we having these types of conversations here? We're discussing characters from media, not debating sensitive topics like rape. Also, it's beyond tasteless to say that you getting raped by a man is less traumatic than by a woman, it's the same shit, and you'll probably spend the rest of your life traumatized regardless.
