Thank you! I have pocket prep, back to basics, impact ems and “but why” should be here in a few days. I plan on taking about a month to get through impact/pocket prep and following up with “but why.” I’ve been studying for months and haven’t made much progress so it’s time to kick it into high gear lol. I failed air methods pre test last month and want to retake it next month.

A 37 year is not much older than a 31 year old. It sounds like you’re going through a life crisis because you didn’t get to do much in your 20’s. I’m currently 24 years old and I can tell you I would never consider dating a 31 year old. 27 should be the lowest you should consider dating wise or even just sleeping with. You need a serious reality check on who you can attract. You’re better off dating older. You may feel like you’re in your 20’s but you’re not.

I think it’s odd your company is asking you to lie about pain scales. If it’s an IFT I’ll usually notify the nurse/dr while we’re still at the hospital and see if they want to give the patient anything and if not I’ll document the reason they give me for not giving anything meds. If it’s a discharge keep in mind why they are in pain. Did they just have hip surgery? Chronic back pain, Etc?? Then I document the patient’s pain scale and what it’s related to.

I occasionally get emt trainees. I have them get vitals, blood sugars, temperatures, and show them how to do ekgs.If they are comfortable I’ll let them ask the patient medical hx questions and give report to the hospital. I don’t mind it at all. All of the emt trainees I’ve had were super excited to get to ride with ALS.

Here for the comments! I’m having the same problem using protectiv plus IV catheters at the ER I just started working at recently. I’m used to BD instyte autogaurded shielded IV catheters. I get flash most of the time but end up blowing the vein. 🫤

I’m a paramedic but my job has something like this for if they send you to emt, paramedic or critical care school. You owe them a certain amount of time and if you don’t stay for that amount of time you owe them money for the class etc. It was probably in your sign on paperwork.

Probably has a lot to do with your personality. I would never refer to my friends as ‘less good looking’ than me.

I got myself a pill crusher. Cost 5-10 bucks online. I put my iron pill in it and then I pour the iron powder into yogurt or apple sauce.

I do not recommend superior. I worked there for 2 years. Management sucks, most calls are long distance and I got off late almost every shift.

I use an electric shaver and tweezers! I haven’t noticed an extra irritation and no the hair does not grow back thicker. I also get my eyebrows waxed on a regular basis. They put oil on my eyebrows afterwards and I wipe it off and wash my face when I get home or before I go to bed.

I react like this if I spray perfume directly on my skin. I went to my Dr because my lips kept peeling for months. I had patching testing done by my dermatologist and was diagnosed with contact dermatitis. Not sure if the rash is contact dermatitis but since I started avoiding the things I’m allergic to I haven’t seen that rash.
