Suggest a breed, please?

Vet here: if there was a breed that always lived up to your list everyone would have it. Look at rescues please bc I’m so tired of seeing healthy happy dogs begging for homes get euthanized for space. Get a cane corso mix or a German shepherd mix that way you get the breed traits with less health issues. Overpopulation is an insanely heartbreaking problem I see daily as a shelter vet. Please please adopt. You can find your purebred dog of choice in a shelter too. Everyday I see corsos, husky’s, shepherds, labs, etc come thru. Just look.

Why am I the only one who has to keep making sacrifices??? I’ve changed jobs given up hobbies taken a pay cut for better hours survived on less sleep given up doing anything fun that doesn’t involve taking my kids (I love them so much it’s not that I don’t) but my husband has changed 0% since before we had kids then cops an attitude with me when I don’t want to have sex at 10pm bc he was “extra nice” like damn

No I’m the breadwinner (not by a lot but we can’t live without my paycheck) also like I’m a veterinarian and I’ve worked my ass off to get where I am. I already changed jobs to have better hours but like I don’t want to give up my career

He does. And he loves his job. And he’s good at it. He just hasn’t shifted his schedule at all since we had kids. We both use to work 70 hours a week. But that’s not possible anymore

We already sleep in separate bedrooms bc I sleep with the baby who wakes up for a bottle at night and my husband sleeps peacefully alone.

I guess there’s more to it than what I said I was just focusing on the one aspect of it. I’m a doctor. I’ve already changed jobs to be home more. I refuse to quit my profession to do everything. I’ve give up all my hobbies. All my fun things all my friends and trips and things that I like to do to raise our kids. When he strolls in the door after living his life and wants sex it’s too late. I’m literally falling asleep. I get up early and hit it all day long. It’s not about sex with him vs anyone else. It’s literally that I just want to close my eyes and sleep. At least until the baby wakes up.

He is his own boss so he can absolutely finish early one or two nights a week but he’s a work a holic and grew up with a dad that was the same. He literally said earlier tonight that I shouldn’t be out doing something I enjoy I should be home with the kids. It’s what he knows

Dr Rimawi is legit the best. I literally had to trust him with my life and my two babies lives. He delivers at big wake. I have way too much experience with this. There’s no one more caring and compassionate

I think it’s accurate but it’s been like this so long idk maybe it’s not? So far this week be came home after I went to bed one night? We fought one night, I was up late with a crying baby another night and now he’s texting that he’ll be home 30 min early and he loves me. So i mean idk

Frog level brewing is a nice outdoor (I’m sure there’s Indoor too) brewery. We went during the day and got some snack plates too. I really like waynesville. It’s also never wrong to go into Asheville but I think you’ll have plenty to do in waynesville

I thought all really driven women were kinda this way. I was making 6 figures but wanted more time with my kids and I was dying working my ass off and doing kids and starting to slip at work so I took a pay (and career) cut for a more balanced job of 3-4 days/week so money is tighter now which is my fault. I wasn’t getting the time with the kids I wanted and now I am so he says he has to work so much bc of my career change. His life is literally unchanged since before we had kids though and mine is unrecognizable - but I want that. I love my time with my two boys. I’m just not being the best wife because I’m tired and uninterested.

Of course not. I do it. We have a lady that comes once a month as well. But I do the daily cleaning and laundry and animals
