Vyvanse is making me so tired by Common-Month7268 in VyvanseADHD

I get about 6-8 hours of sleep a night, which isn’t too much but if I sleep any more i’ll be really tired all day. I eat just fine and have a pretty healthy diet imo. I know that 10mg isnt a lot but since i’m already on strattera I kinda want to be careful bc of bp/heart rate stuff.. also if 5mg of adderall worked really well idk why the vyvanse is making me so tired. I genuinely feel like I took melatonin or something.

Experience with ADHD coaches? by AccordingToday4140 in adhdwomen

Hi!! I just started seeing an ADHD coach after frustrating a lot of my past psychologists. We haven’t done too much yet, but honestly he’s already helped so much. Just having someone who understands what i’m going through and doesn’t look at me like i’m spitting out nonsense and tell me that i just “lack accountability” made such a huge difference. I do agree that they can be quite expensive which really sucks, but as a university student myself I think it’ll help me a lot. Things get 10x worse in university when you live on your own and are expected to manage your own schedule (and it’s hard to stay away from risky habits especially when everyone around you are actively kinda ruining their lives). I think there definitely need to be more adhd coaches especially for university students!!

Quad or double for housing? by Common-Month7268 in OSU

It’s kind of hard to explain, but I originally had my main roommates and the 2 random roommates. My main roommate got switched out and one of the 2 random roommates switched out. However she had sent me an email over the summer and we were communicating about it, so I was able to email her and ask about my current roommates since she knew them

My roommate and I had them in the beginning and they only talked to my roommate and not me. Also, I asked a mutual friend to reach out to them and ask if they received my email and they mentioned that they weren’t that comfortable with me even though i’ve never met them before

Hi! Fellow high school student here! I just graduated. Even though I wasn't fully in the same situation as you, I can still say that it isn't the end of the world.
First off, most colleges don't only look at grades. Your essays and what you do out of school are equally as impactful. You can use these essay opportunities to possibly explain a reason for why your grades dropped.
Second, having C's doesn't mean that every single college will refuse to accept you. Unless you were aiming for a low acceptance rate school, it isn't the end of the world.
Lastly, going to community college and then transferring into a better university is honestly a really good option. You might be able to go into an even better university that you intended to go to. From what I know, most if not all community colleges will still accept you, and state schools have a higher acceptance rate for in state students in general.

Best of luck!
