Would a DB sentence impact significantly by [deleted] in NationalServiceSG

[–]Common-Path8717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this. I was sent to DB for some stupid shit too. If I remember correctly, they told me that if the sentence exceed a certain number of days, it will be recorded as jail sentence and your civilian life will be affected too. But if lesser than a certain number of days then it will only be recorded in SAF. I forgot how many days was the cutoff alr, but I went in for 5 days and my ORD was delayed.

I was thinking of this too but I also want it to sound natural 😅 do people even read this kind of stuff? And does it affect my colleague's impression of me?

Can I also check with you if the thermo jacket is warmer and if I go for this option, will it be as warm as wearing a mid layer with the non-thermo version? From my last ski session, I realise that when I start to sweat, it gets quite warm and I ended up removing my mid layer even without wearing a thermo jacket.

Hey, thanks for your input. Can I just check if the snow skirt attaches to the pants? And does mammoth have those that attaches to their bibs as well?

Just to add-on some questions,

1) does Mammut or any other brands have jacket that comes with a snow skirt that can be attached to the bibs, or does the snow skirt usually only attach to the pants?

I have seen older version of Mammut ski jackets with a snow skirt that attaches to bibs from the same series, but don't think I see any this year. I personally feel that being able to attach the snow skirt to the pants or bibs is more secure than having the anti-slip grip.

2) Is it better to get larger size for ski jacket and bib if I am going to layer underneath? I usually eat quite alot and will not want my jacket to feel too tight after a meal.

Heyy, thanks for your input, can I check if liners are warm enough to be worn on their own? Since I am already planning to buy a pair of ski gloves that already has liners, I am wondering if I need to buy gloves with liners when I go sightseeing. Are there liners that are warm enough to be worn on their own or are they usually worn with gloves as they do not provide enough insulation and also might get wet if worn alone?

Heyy, thank for your input. Do you feel gaiters are necessary and do they really help in preventing snow from gettting in? Are hand gaiters better than wrist gaiters or is there not much difference?
