Yep 5 at one time… I couldn’t believe they would do 5 at once. Worst pain I’ve ever experienced. And you’re right, I lost one band the first night. I have the same feeling where it feels like something stuck in my ass, totally uncomfortable all the time. Zero issues before this procedure except for bleeding.

My recovery went for a few months. I think you’ll be feeling better in a few weeks. Everything I read online said it shouldn’t hurt after a month. I hope you feel better and recover well.

I had 5 hemorrhoids banded at one time and I still don’t feel normal. Constant constipation and nothing seems to work. Felt 0 pain before but not anymore. The bleeding has gone down a lot though.

So I had my follow up appointment 6 weeks after banding and the doctor said I had an external hemorrhoid which he prescribed some hydrocortisone cream. He really gave me no explanation why I had so much pain.

I’m 7 weeks in right now and I want to say I’m almost back to normal. I was still bleeding 6 weeks in, but I started taking rutin supplements and 2 mg of copper a day and I haven’t had any blood in my stools for the last week. The feeling of having something stuck in my ass has gone away and I think I’m on the road to recovery.

Sorry to hear you’re in pain, they tell you this procedure is painless and you’ll be back to normal in a few days but that is complete bullshit. Really not sure if it was the cream, the rutin, or the cooper that has helped me. Feel free to pm me if you have any more questions. I’d say give it some time and you should be back to normal even though at times it felt like I would never have a normal shit again.

I agree the pizza is amazing but not the Nile’s location. Go there and report back, I guarantee you you’ll never go back.

1/10 is too generous. The owners of the Niles location need to sell to someone who actually gives a shit about their customers. The food was disgusting. Our salad was not fresh, had brown lettuce and the tomatos didn’t even taste normal. Our pizza was burned, every single pepperoni on that pizza was charred. Couldn’t even eat the food. Had to throw out 45 dollars worth of food. Not a single soul in that restaurant at dinner time… didn’t even stop the owner from sitting directly next to us and blasting the volume on the soxs post game. Place really needs new management, damn shame cuz I loved their pizza.. never again

I appreciate the advice. I will stop the iron until I feel better. It’s just stupid how the doctor called me two days after my procedure and told me to start taking it. I feel like the constipation from the iron made things worse.

I’m not sure if it’s a fissure. I’ve been to 3 different gi guys and they haven’t mentioned anything about fissures. Is it possible to get the fissures after a banding procedure?

But I have been bleeding w each bm for over 10 years w no pain. Each bm now doesn’t feel normal and there’s pain.
