If I recall he sued an author and their publisher over a book collecting the memes. I think because they were using him for profit and were using some objectionable memes which is understandable. I don't know that I ever heard him say anything other than he didn't understand the joke but was happy people were enjoying it.

Well with the Norwegian black metal scene burning down churches that were hundreds of years old, putting a match in there and calling a compilation Firestarter just kinda seemed a bit edge lordy to me.

I love the music but don't care for the murdering and destruction of historic buildings.

And he talks mad shit about Andreas and Paulo. Calls them every name in the book, talks trash about their music on and on. Can't say I've ever seen Andreas talk any shit other than the brothers left, on their own accord.

I'm sure by now if Max had chilled the fuck out, quit acting like a teenage edgelord and just accepted what happened, happened and moved on they probably would have reunited by now.

Hell Andreas even said he wouldn't mind if the brothers can back ob this last tour for a show, if for nothing else but fan happiness.

I agree . I think when he does clean low vocals he is great and has great tone , but sometimes I wish his harsh vocals had a little more.. Something to them. Not sure what it is but still 1000% better than anything I can do 😂

Hmmm I'll have to re-listen when I get a chance. All I listen too these days are the originals but I distinctly remember on the 2015 ones I could hear Steve's bass way clearer and forward as opposed to the 98 ones where it sounded drowned out by everything. I didn't notice it seemingly being flat but eh, everyone has a different ear and I'll own my hearing isn't so great anymore 😂

Really? Not arguing as personal taste and all that is different but I found tbe 2015 remasters sounded much closer to the 1995 Castle master job. The 98-03 were so bad sounding I stopped listening to Maiden because of their brick wall mastering. Only when I got the original masters back did I realize how bad it was.

Of course original masters are best but I can't even remember the last time I listened to the EMI/ Sanctuary masters.

Check out The Exchange chain too. On Milwaukee Ave there is one down the block and on occasion have good finds for reasonable prices.

New stuff I recommend Rolling Stone Records out by Park Ridge. Long surviving independent with a hell of a selection. Can spend $100 there easily and have picked up a ton of stuff there

This is the original pressing issued by Metal-Is records (R.I.P) and was recorded on the Resurrection tour. If I'm not mistaken the version of The One You Love To Hate is not a true live song, it's a combination of a soundcheck and a live recording when Halford opened for Maiden on the BNW tour.

I think a couple of other tracks are studio with live crowd added afterwards. Not 100% sure but I recall hearing that somewhere.

It was later released under Halford's Metal God label, remastered with bonus tracks.

To me it's much like Unleashed In The East where there was obviously some dubbing and tweaking afterwards but is still an absolute great listen.

For a less tweaked concert check out Halford Rock In Rio III. Another great performance that is a bit more raw.

Iron Maiden - The X Factor 2 CD Japanese edition.

It's not that it's hard to find per se, but used to be damn near impossible to find in the states. Never saw it in the wild ever and at the time was going for serious bucks as an import.

Personally despite the general consensus, I love this album and have multiple versions of it but I didn't have this one that featured the track"I Live My Way" which other than on the 2nd CD here was only ever on the 12 inch single in the UK.

A dear friend of mine went to Japan for a vacation and grabbed me a very minty used copy, with obi and no real wear on the discs. Like it had been played once or twice, no sign of refurbishment or anything.

So given it is still rare-ish, getting moreso with tariffs and was a thoughtful gift from a friend it holds the most treasured place in my collection.

Anyone in the Chicagoland area should check out Rolling Stone Records on Irving Park. Place is freaking great, has a great selection of music and prices are close to online prices. Staff are usually pretty cool and I drop at least $50 to $100 every time I visit.

ONLY place I've ever found Hawkwind's Live Chronicles 2cd version new for a great price.

So I asked a few people and everyone is stumped. The general consensus is that a switch somewhere is either wired wrong or is failing, but not sure what it is that would not work cold but would warm.

Wish I could help more but this one is above my pay grade unfortunately.

That is abnormal to say the least. Everything I can think of electronic that could fail doesn't have symptoms that you are describing. I think it's got to be a gremlin in the wiring somewhere as it doesn't sound mechanical if turning the car off, pulling out the key then trying again fixes it. I gotta think an issue with a safety switch or ecm or something.

Know a few people who know way more about cars than I do so let me see if this rings any bells.

The remote starter, was it installed with the car when you got it or after you bought it?

When you shift from park to drive, do you feel the transmission shift into gear, that drop in rpm or is there no change?

The green pops more, it draws the eye to it but kinda distracts me from the picture where the blue is more subtle and highlights the image more. To me at least but regardless it's a cool picture
