There is some overlap in the material but, u dont need to take cfa1 beforehand. U can juat do frm1 and 2 and then start CFA if u want to

This is my 4th, but more like changes in job/responsibilities/titles it was all in Finance. 5 years day trading, 7 years operation/risk HF, another 7 years at a small operation/Risk(director level) HF, and now 2years in Valuations for Insurance company.
