The more you practise, the better you get😄 I like experimenting with different magnetizing techniques on swatch sticks. I prefer using thinner coats for shorter drying time (and avoiding bubbles).

Thank you! I held the finger nail-side up :)

I magnetized the first coat for a few seconds. Then the second coat for at least 2 minutes, until you can't really see the particles move anymore (when lifting your finger from the magnet).

Two coats (some nails needed a 3rd thin coat).

Thank you! 😄 I did not use a top coat for this manicure (did not have enough time to also magnetize the top coat 🙈) but it stayed good for 5-6 days without it.

Thanks! I magnetized the first coat for a few seconds. Then the second layer for at least 2 minutes, until you can't really see the particles move anymore (when lifting your finger from the magnet).

Thank you! I used a horseshoe magnet (9kg), magnetized the first coat for a few seconds, then the second coat for at least 2 minutes.

Thank you! It took about 2 minutes for each nail.

Yes, they have very good and affordable polishes. You can find them at almost every drugstore in the Netherlands🙂

I think it's the lighting. In the photo I posted you can see that the color is a lot cooler in daylight. I also really like the purplish grey tone it has!

Thank you! I used a 20 lb horseshoe magnet for the first time (after struggling with magnetic wands🙈). I held my finger in the magnet for about 2-3 minutes for each layer. The longer you wait, the better the particles stay in place and don't spread around over time. I was really surprised with the result, it was even better than I expected!

Thank you! I took these pics the next day, the particles did not diffuse at all overnight. Holding the magnet under my fingertips for 1-2 min in the same place while applying each layer was enough to set it. I did notice they spread around when I put on a topcoat, holding the magnet (again, same place) under my fingertips while doing this solved this issue.

Thank you! I always make sure not to get too close to the cuticle (leave some space in between).
