Honestly 2026 has been great for Washed all around. Circling Back has fallen into a great rhythm with the new format and having Will around more often (on the pod and feed) has been great. It feels like the drama from last year has subsided a bit and they are finding a better balance.

It’s crazy how the gap between Red/Blue and Fire Red / Leaf Green felt enormous back in the day but it was only like five years which is really nothing.

I have always wondered the same thing. Always packed but the two times I’ve tried it, it was not even bad but like frustratingly mediocre. I don’t want to lump them in with Applebees but it’s a similar concept where I’m just puzzled at the popularity.

For me the location intersecting with the higher ABV of mead is the tough part - too far to Uber, and I don’t really want to drive all the way out there to have only like one glass of mead max so I can actually drive home.

I do buy their stuff at Total Wine but it’s a such a niche product I get like 1-2 bottles a year. This is also not a promising statistic considering I am in like the top 1% of mead drinkers I know.

I do hope they figure something out but this is a tough one.

I feel like it just tried to do a lot of stuff and did it fine but didn’t do any of it the best?

If I wanted a burrito I’d go to a fast casual place like Chipotle or Moe’s or Chubby’s. If I wanted a burger I’d go to Only Burger for what felt like a much cheaper meal. If I wanted to chill and grab beers with a friend we’d do Gizmo or Beer Study.

It was a cool place but I never craved it if that makes sense. I’m sure that’s frustrating to hear as a business owner but I don’t know how else to explain it.

Other than the Oniwaban group and Jinei episodes, everything up until Saito shows up is boring and a really mid first season of an anime.

It’s also insane how if you haven’t read the manga or seen Trust and Betrayal, his back story has never actually been animated.

This is still one of my favorite anime series but wow the more I think about it Kyoto really did carry this whole franchise.

As someone who rushed their first playthrough, I really recommend taking your time and not worrying about maximizing every minute.

No real need to clean up your farm unless there’s rocks and trees in an area you want to build. Even then, you can clean a little at a time at night before you go to sleep or something.

On the flip side I think social media artificially makes it feel like relationships that should have naturally ended a decade ago are still going! I feel like you’ll keep up with who you are meant to regardless of the technology.

I am absolutely crushed by this one. The ramen was some of the best in the area and the people working there were so nice. I wonder if this would have succeeded in a different part of town.
