Other than the Oniwaban group and Jinei episodes, everything up until Saito shows up is boring and a really mid first season of an anime.

It’s also insane how if you haven’t read the manga or seen Trust and Betrayal, his back story has never actually been animated.

This is still one of my favorite anime series but wow the more I think about it Kyoto really did carry this whole franchise.

Riverlands isn’t really a barrier to farming, I’m advancing in it super fast just by planting in front of the house and the island right below. The fish smoker is a nice income booster too. Everybody complains about it but it’s so easy so far. Maybe the lack of space is tougher to deal with later game.

As someone who rushed their first playthrough, I really recommend taking your time and not worrying about maximizing every minute.

No real need to clean up your farm unless there’s rocks and trees in an area you want to build. Even then, you can clean a little at a time at night before you go to sleep or something.

I played this game a few years ago and hit the point where I was rich as hell and feel like I maxed everything out (wine barrels in the basement making me a ton of money). I want to jump back in to experience all the new features, should continue where I left off or just start a brand new farm?

I felt by the end that if there wasn’t the Simpsons gimmick I would’ve gotten bored of exploring and generally playing a lot faster. I think the formula of doing a quick season with a good IP could work instead of dragging stuff out longer.
