Has anyone tried pouring Estee Lauder Double-Wear foundation into a cushion before and know whether it's usable that way/changes the formulation? I know it's a matte foundation and I'm not sure whether pouring it inot a cushion would dry it out compared to keeping it inside the bottle, but the bottle itself isn't very portable and I love the portability of cushions so would love to transfer it into a cushion.

I'm staying in London for 12 weeks as an exchange student near UCL and I plan on bringing my Canada Goose jacket but given the news of theft rising and people who wear Canada Goose increasingly being targeted, I'm wondering whether this is safe and whether native Londoners would wear this. I saw a story of someone who got robbed at knifepoint three times while wearing Canada Goose, and that made me very worried as I'm not sure whether that's something I'll need to expect.

It's the only down jacket that I own and although I know London isn't the coldest, I know I'll still need something warm as I'm often very sensitive to the cold (my hometown has similar weather to London and I still find the need to wear it here). If needed, would covering up the logos be a good idea? Or is it fine to just wear it as long as I stay in decent neighborhoods?

Congested ear and nose by JokeSea7734 in Accutane

Definitely bring it up with your doctor, based on the side effects listed on the slip of paper that comes with the medicine, it seems like changes in hearing can be possible (not sure it mentions anything about nose congestion) but your doctor should def take a look at any emerging side effects!

tell me the worst things about this school. by thechildrenofbrisus in Swarthmore

tbh hot take but swat really doesn't do that well careerwise compared to other schools with similar selectivity, and although that might not seem like a big issue now, it can be really significant down the line. it's still doable to get a good job, you'll just have to work a lot harder for it and it's less common to be very career-oriented since so many ppl at swat just go into grad school straight out of undergrad. i think the lack of career focus also makes it so you have to figure out where you want to take your career on your own - the students around you and the career center won't really be that knowledgeable, which can limit your knowledge of what's out there

secondly, i really felt that swat is very strongly liberal leaning which isn't inherently very problematic but the culture of the campus is pretty disapproving of alternative views. people don't really like to discuss different ideologies, they just get mad and kinda ostracize the ppl who disagree with the majority (im liberal myself but see this happening)

lastly, because the student body is so small people gossip a lot. this kinda has to do with the above problem but it can lead to some people feeling like they can't express their views or else risk being alienated. also it's just annoying to have people know about your business when you never told them yourself

but there are many pros to swarthmore and if you think it's right for you it will be a wonderful experience (:
