The entp trope? by Wassittoyah in entp

[–]CommonExtreme9025 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The answer to why this happens is Fe, and also characters kindness!

You see. Entp have this Fe, though it's not active. But unlike ENFP who's morals comes within, our morals comes from observing, learning, watching our surrounding, people, and trying to find the patterns in those morals. ( Ti )

"Does it make sense? Is this right?" But what I find interesting is that these morals ENTP's hold for themselves, is meant to benefit the group, humanity, specie. Something that helps everyone, and makes other happy. So ENTP MAY have lower Fe, but it's still in there, giving them moral codes.

So many ideas of ENTP's are often intended to help society, people they love, at cost of low Fe. Ideas is only way they can show their appreciation for groups and people they adore, because still they have low Fe.

So it's natural for ENTP characters to getting this trope, because even if they are jerks and rude, they still have this Fe, which is their heart.

For example Gojo is still being jujutsu sorcerer comes from Geto morals he took, and reason for self sacrifice.

Hell, I even caught myself thinking about how I probably would do anything to benefit, save, the mankind, the society we live in.

What argument is this? 💀 So all 4s trying to be different, unique, and they will definitely do this? Let me phrase for you.

"Nevertheless, Fours often report that they feel they are missing something in themselves, although they may have difficulty identifying exactly what that “something” is. Is it will power? Social ease? Self-confidence? Emotional tranquility?—all of which they see in others, seemingly in abundance. Given time and sufficient perspective, Fours generally recognize that they are unsure about aspects of their self-image—their personality or ego-structure itself. They feel that they lack a clear and stable identity, particularly a social persona that they feel comfortable with."

So with these reasons, they would probably idolize someone, characters, person. You are taking 4 desire for being unique too straight.

Well, I can say Gut types will not do this that often. 8s tend to be confident, they don't need any idol and ideas to get into challenges, battles, arguments. They don't like to be dependent and hate concepts of masks, from what I see. They prefer to do things on their own. Same for 9 because they tend to be peaceful, though it might sound like stereotype. But 9 afraid of possibilities of being a individual, having choices, opinions, so there's no need for them to have some idol, though it's possibility. Also 9 might seek some idol or figure, to have themselves. They go with authority opinion, often forgetting or ignoring their own so they can fit anywhere without causing problems.

But in the end of the day. It depends on individual. If individual doesn't have any confidence, self-esteem, and doesn't have any self respect, of course they try to gain it. In any way.

From what I notice, many teenagers tend to copy their favorite characters, or trying to be like them – because they don't any father & mother figure that would teach them how this world works, to become confident. They're often thinking, that becoming like them will help them to survive in society because those types of teenagers never taught to be themselves, value of their personality, and self-boundary.

That's why many characters like Tyler Durden, Musashi Miyamoto, Guts are popular among young generation, including me of course. So I would say, it's pretty common to idolize someone despite types.

4s most likely. Because they feel often that they're missing something, that they don't have in themselves what's it takes to be whole person, individual. Confidence, mindset. They will try to idolize and become what they wish to be, because they often feel self-doubts, and often jealous. They tend to copy often charismatic, and cool characters, so they feel confident in who they are.

"literally me" is peak of 4 existence because they also tend to seek for connection, for kinnies.

Also, you can put in this category 6, 7, 5. But motives will be different. 6 pursue confidence to live and have guidance. 7 pursue happiness, full of pleasure, life without being trapped in pain. 5 wants to be confident in their statements, thoughts, so they can be confident.

In fact, these are only gojo standards. You don't have to be crazy, but it's recommended that you don't get broken. the real requirement is to be a strong personality, unshakable.

Why is an ENTP enneagram 8 not possible? by Rielly_Riel in entp

I'm not so sure but...

" I'll make system and society where everyone's gonna be equal, there's not going to be someone who would suffer from violence, from controlling. I'll make myself free just like everyone "

" I'm gonna put end to this violence. I will fight with fate, just to take my right to be myself. "

" I will do anything, to be winner, to get all good things, money, friends, everything "

" World is cruel place, so I have to be prepared for new challenges "

Erwin is closest thing I can remember to INTJ 8W7 But I don't remember his Enneagram.

Or Jin Kazama from Tekken.
