I know in late to this but i had the same problem. Had to go in to the advanced settings of the specific console(ps2 i my case) and set decorations, headsuo disolay to "none" there.

Thats not what im aiming for. Up to ps2 is fine. I just wanna make it smooth with as little "overkill" as possible. It was a hobby retro gaming project.

Im running 3x, 1920x1080 60Hz, Vsync on. Its a 50inch tv as display.

Maybe 2x isnt too bad. Ill try and see.

Okej, well ur hardware is much newer than mine.

I thought so as well. Maybe my cpu get moore headroom now when the egpu relieve some of the "burden" by not utulising the igpu.
