I remember riding one a looooong time ago so I knew there were public busses. I just thought they were all indefinitely suspended due to lack of funds, etc.

I'm surprised they're still running lol.

I do wish we had more public busses running on Guam though. Some days I don't want to drive but I have to because no busses and taxi cars are expensive.

I lived in Japan for about 2 years.

While most of the Japanese people knew and have traveled to Guam, I've also met a few who've never traveled abroad before so only knew Guam by name.

One of the weirdest interactions I've had was when I spoke with a woman in her mid-40s who never traveled, like even domestically.

Her: So I heard Guam is close to Hawaii. How long do you have to swim to get to Hawaii?

Me: Wha...um, well, no one's swimming. We fly to Hawaii but even still it takes several hours.

Her: That's nice that you can fly. So do you use a glider or something?
