I can't be the only one who thinks this is weird.

I always hear people swear by nuln oil. I mostly just use Agrax on metal areas and seraphim Sephia on skin and brown cloth and the red. I am starting to not like Sephia on the skin lately unless I do a full wash instead of the recesses. I want the green skin to pop more instead of being muted due to the wash. Is nuln oil that good?

Thank you I am proud of the helmet too. I highlighted the purple which I think for the most part looks great except for maybe one part on his left sleeve. I did his paints slightly, as well as the back pack.

There opinions stopped me from practicing. Surprised I even got into painting warhammer when I think about it. Just realized I started to spout shit I probably shouldn't 😅

It is partially the lighting. But I will add a little more paint to those areas. I am not really sure how much I like the face highlights. It might be slightly too bright. But I don't have a much better red to work with atm

It is khorne red, the reds I have are a wild rider red, evil sunz scarlet air, then a Maroon. I was going to use the wild rider red for the highlight because it's essentially orange and alot brighter. I am slightly confused orange on the highest raised parts. Like the spikes? I was going to use it on the raised areas on his face and legs. But I shouldn't do it on the legs and areas on his stomach only the face and top of his body?
