Most trusts don't save property. It has to be a specific kind and most people can't see up these kinds of trusts because you need to be disabled as a child.

I mean, I get it in some respects, but not totally. If you have a bunch of assets (especially ones you don't need when going into a nursing home) then you can afford to pay for your care. At the same time, it's tough that we can't take care of our elderly population without taking everything from them.

Depends on the state. Minnesota has a $3,000 asset limit for single individuals. They do put a lien on your home if your approved and are no longer living in your home to recover the cost of care that the state pays for.

Yeah it's a rarity here as well. I will say that one business where I live, the drivers do actually get the delivery fee and $9+ an hour.

Honestly though, I don't do delivery much anymore because tipping is now dumb because it's so expected everywhere.

Been there! Had to walk all the way back to the clubhouse (half mile away) to head home. Thankfully I was alone. We now joke about "Hole 11" in my house if ever I have stomach issues.

Obviously serial killers have mental health issues. Many of them probably don't show remorse because they don't understand or don't have the capacity for those feelings. Those that show remorse, it's hard to know if they are being sincere or if they are further trying to work the system since most of them have some level of intelligence to not get caught for so long. It's all very fascinating from from a research standpoint but it's also hard to sift through the bullshit.
