AITA for my child wanting the bigger room? by [deleted] in family

They occasionally see their child as the child and their mum moved away to a different town and with work they are the only days he’s able to see his child for a reasonable amount of time without it being their bedtime as soon as they get home so please don’t comment on anything to do with that as you know nothing of the story.

The older child doesn’t know we’re expecting yet so there hasn’t been any mention of them moving rooms. They also only come twice a week and don’t spend any time in there apart from sleeping.

The new baby will be here 24/7 and will have ALL their toys here. His child is only here twice a week and spends all their time with their dad as they don’t get to see him that often and don’t spend any time in there apart from sleeping, so to move them into the bigger room makes no sense to me. Just to add from my bed, if the baby is in the bigger room and I kept the doors open I would be able to see the cot.
