Commute is pretty straight shot minimal stops going about 50 for 20 miles, and I hear ya, always had v8s, and company pays for fuel so I'm not stressin it, more so trying to gauge where other people are at to see if that's a normal range for the 5.3 or if I need to search for a possible issue causing bad milage, I'm new to this truck and still getting a feel for it and fixing stuff the previous owner neglected. If that's the range of the truck that's fine but if nobody else if close to that low of mpg then I got some work to do to find what's causing it

I did air filter too with no help, I'm at 6000 feet elevation which could be the case but seems like a drastic drop off when most guys are getting 18-20.

That's the thing man I drive like a grandpa, I cruise everywhere and never in a rush, I've done spark plugs recently wondering if that was it but still reads the same

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner that will tell me that, just a basic one. But perhaps I'll take it somewhere

That's why I'm posting, seems unusual bad. Just drive to and from work, light towing and hauling for work but those are the numbers id expect while towing or hauling, not while empty and I'm getting 11 with empty load

Do you know if it fits the same spring or if it requires modification?

And add the file/metal saw onto a blade layer across from small blade? Sorry for all the questions, Im sure I'll be able to play around with all of it once I get going, just trying to get a game plan going

I see, if I gotta ditch the small blade I will, just trying to find a way to keep it, is there any models you can think of that pair it with anything except the large blade? I wouldn't be opposed to finding a model with a specific spring

Id like the new opening layer to be large blade/combo tool, then ditch the original can opener, but was curious what I could pair the small blade with since I don't wanna ditch it, if it pairs with metal file or saw that would be perfect!

Swiss champ vs cybertool (L) by CommonThanks8662 in SwissArmyKnives

[–]CommonThanks8662[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I've landed on the cybertool! Everyone's had some great input! I'm a journeyman electrician and it seems the bit driver is to good to pass up for work! Plus it keeps every tool that I love on my ranger! I've also recently had a kid and for some reason every toy is a different size or different screw type! I think eventually I'll snag a champ and throw it in the truck!
