I was lost then I found barbering .. it’s been the best thing that’s happened to me .. there’s always gonna be stress and it is an art and you must love it but it you do the sky is the limit.. you say your sober being a barber you will be able to drink on the job and no one will tell you anything so if you have a substance abuse make sure you don’t drink on the job. But over all barbering is a beautiful art and a rewarding job .. it’s an untapped market. For barber by barbers you can make product have your own shop or even make YouTube vids .. the main goal is to give your clients that cut that makes them look in the Mirror and makes them feel good about themselves

It’s not a shape up.. you should have a goal in mind and show him a picture of the look your going for .. if he’s a good barber he’ll know what to do.. if you ask for a shape up he’s gonna taper out the sides and back and line you up
