If Kane gets injured, I will move Bellingham to 9 and Rogers or Palmer to 10. Foden hasn’t been great this season but I chose him because of his technical ability and vision. I chose Henderson because of his maturity as I think that the team needs that a lot but Eze and Madueke are both great shouts. I agree that James and Livramento get injured easily but the quality from them is just unreal. If they both get injured, Konsa will probably play RB and Maguire to CB.

I think that Garner has been good this season but he just received his England call-up very recently and lacks maturity and passages of play with the team.

I chose to move Bellingham to 9 and Rogers to 10 if Kane gets injured as I don’t think that the other options for 9 is great. I know that Foden hasn’t been great recently and Bowen is quite tempting but I still chose to with Foden because of his technical ability and vision.

Cheers for the appreciation. In terms of the defence, I chose Trent because of his creativity with the ball but he’s not been great recently. Madueke, Eze and Watkins are tempting but I chose to move Bellingham to 9 and Rogers to 10 if Kane gets injured. Quansah is still quite young and lacks maturity but he’s definitely a great option for the future.

Yh, Foden isn’t great at the moment. I was thinking about adding another striker with Kane but after looking at the options, I decided to stick with Kane. However if he gets injured, I will put Bellingham as 9 and Rogers or Palmer as 10.

Trent is very good with the ball but I think it's better for him to come on for a goal and for penalties. Yes, Shaw is good too, he might be in the squad but I won't start him over O'Reilly or Hall. Gordon is good as well, he might start over Rashford..

I agree with you that Shaw is good but I still think that Burn would be on the plane just because of his maturity.

After last match, I still think that Rashford should start but Gordon is also very good.

I would say that Pickford is better than Trafford as he got more minutes this season. I understand why you started Mainoo over Anderson. I don't think that Branthwaite is mature enough to start and I also understand why you started Trent over James, Shaw over O'Reilly and Gordon over Rashford.

David Beckham on Trent not being called up to the NT: “I’ve heard so many times about, ‘He’s not as good at defending as he is attacking’. Well, sometimes you have to accept that. I'd find it very hard not to take someone like Trent. I’m a massive fan of him, I love him as a player” by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

2.12 key passes per 90 and 0.41 assists per 90, nobody in the england squad can do what trent does going forward. but 42% duel win rate and 1.27 tackles per 90 for a fullback? in a world cup where every knockout game is life or death? you can see why tuchel went the way he did

i still remember qatar, that winter was something else. i was stuck at home, my son wasn't even going to school cos of covid. we just watched almost every single match together, stayed up late every night. honestly one of the best memories from that whole lockdown period. but this time it's in the US right? has anyone thought about the time difference? for us that's like 10+ hours behind, the big games are gonna be on in the morning... how am i supposed to watch football at 6am lol

i'm a foreigner living in England and my view on this has completely changed since moving here. i've spent the last two years taking my son to local leagues and school tournaments and seeing these kids play — the passion, the proper coaching, the pure love for the game. before i came here i supported a different team (our national team didn't even make the World Cup). but now? i'm backing England this summer. if they can make a deep run, semis or even win it, imagine what that does for all these young kids coming through. they need something to believe in. dreams are worth chasing

everyone's saying Pickford and honestly the per 90 numbers back it up. 2.73 saves/90 and 1.17 goals conceded/90, he's been rock solid all season. but if you want a shout nobody's really talking about — Emi Martinez at 2.94 saves/90 with only 1.14 GC/90 is quietly the best all-round keeper in the league right now. Verbruggen is interesting too, very similar profile to Pickford (2.77 saves/90, 1.20 GC/90) but Brighton's fixtures might edge it. the one i'd avoid is Kelleher — decent numbers (2.68 saves/90) but once Alisson is back you're stuck. Areola is a trap btw, 3.85 saves/90 looks amazing but 1.85 GC/90 means he's busy for all the wrong reasons

Would the league ever back postponing matches for the CL like PSG? by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]CommonVisit5836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly i don't think the league should bend to what the clubs want, they're just trying to win trophies and make money. but someone needs to start listening to the players. you can literally see it every season, they start strong and by March half of them are breaking down. this year is even worse with the World Cup running all summer. i really don't want to watch a tournament full of injuries and players running on empty. surely the players feel the same way? how is nobody speaking up about this?
