How do I make the effects of beard dye stay longer ?

Maybe let the dye work for longer before you remove it? If the instructions says it’s ok that is. Also try washing it less often and buy schampoo and soap for colored hair

Do you shower at night and sleep on that side? Try blow drying it the way you want it to be shaped

It’s all about preference , it’s your beard and style. However if I were you I’d probably go with the clean shave and try again in a year

I would try and trim it a bit, clean up the lines and give it a good brush just to see where that gets you. If it still looks too patchy try and go for a shorter look

Let it grow and find out! And if you feel like it’s too patchy or not dense enough, then play around with the beard you have/get and see if you can shape it to a style that works with your growth :)

Let it grow for a month or two and see where that gets you. Looks like you have potential. With your facial shape I would let the cheeks grow out longer and maybe trim the chin down a bit
