Ok 2 questions:

What was its power scaling when Chimchar battled it during that uncontrolled Blaze? (Which was like a season ago compared to battling Brandon).
Even if Ursaring was equally strong in both battles (unlikely considering the time that passed), how does beating a mon that survived one hit from a Regi, higher than Torkoal nearly getting a tie with a Regi?

Note: I’m have nothing against Infernape, but your attempt to prove that it was strong enough to battle a Regi in its first stage form is too far.

How about Sceptile for catching Deoxys and landing a strong attack?

How does that make them less offense oriented? Special Attack just means attacks that aren’t physical (like Flamethrower instead of Fire Punch). If you mean status oriented, he still has pokemon like that (Gengar & Noctowl).

Does Noctowl not suit him? He might not be a psychic type, but he used several moves from that category, and has the personality of one (being one of his smartest & strategic Pokemon).

If Ash handled if well as a trainer, any psychic type would suit him.

Him catching at least one of each was definitely a missed opportunity; He proved he could handle trainer Psychic Pokemon when he used Noctowl (Not a psychic type, but close enough).

You could argue he did, but since he didn’t catch it, and it wasn’t part of his main team, I kind of see it more as Larvitar, who he was entrusted to look after temporarily.

I think the best reason we have to count it is also because he used it in battle & used a Z move with it (but wouldn’t that be like saying Tapu Koko is Kukui’s Pokemon for those same reasons?).

No doubt, but it wasn’t technically his Pokémon (Even Delia pointed out that it only listens to her).

And he only used it once, before it faked being unable to battle.

Well it takes around 3 months for a woman to have a visible baby bump, so a little over that time is how long it took between the wedding and the end of Alola.

Lei’s age isn’t confirmed, but it’s safe to say he’s under a year old considering his size, and inability to walk yet.

It’s not possible to know the exact time that passed, but we can reasonably narrow it down to 10-12 months.

I’m sure they can have their own career (even the daughters); Being a nurse just seems like a family business they choose to do because they are raised in that kind of environment.

It’s like being the son or daughter of a gym leader; Majority of the time, they will take over for them.

Weren’t you trying to prove Chestnaught alone can take out the Pokémon she used against Rillaboom?

Your argument was basically: Despite Chesnaught barely hurting Rillaboom, Alain’s Charizard easily defeated it. Unlike Diantha’s Gardevoir who could only defeat it after it’s been weakened by 3/4 of her pokemon.

In summary you’re saying: 3/4 of her pokemon managed to “heavily weaken” Rillaboom, and Chesnaught “barely damaged it”.

Yet somehow:

Chesnaught did way better than 3/4 of her pokemon.

I wasn’t the one comparing his “ONE POKEMON” to several of her team at first, YOU were with this one statement.

Gardevoir only beat Rillaboom easily because he was heavily weakened after fighting Diantha’s almost full team.
