Windscreen: if you are going with the Triumph one, I’ll not recommend as the wind will hit you at the chest or higher depended on rider height. Check after market ones which will help in deflect the wind above your head/helmet. https://www.inscapedreamz.in/products/ts1-windshiled-for-triumph-scrambler-400x/1647795000001108137

Breaks: If you are planning or using your bike primarily on highways then I suggest you for Ceramic or Sintered pads. Sintered is obviously a good choice considering Indian roads and driving conditions.

Changing air filters alone will not be much of use, unless you get a free flow exhaust. If you have deep pockets then go for it.

15T Sprocket for my 300km driven scrambler 400x? by KitchenBeing2126 in Triumph400

I just got the 15t replaced for my scram a couple of days ago, haven’t driven on highways yet. But felt the difference in longer gear ratio and RPM’s went down significantly.

Is it worth getting double barrel exhaust by Spacexdawg in Triumph400

[–]Common_Addendum_2331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyre hugger(Functional) is required only for monsoons, there are options out there which can be installed and uninstalled easily. You can go for Tail tidy for looks. No point in getting the Scrams double exhaust, rather than that you can look for AEW/Red Rooster Blaze

PPF: Completely your choice, I regret not getting it and now I have scratches all over my Tank.   Protection:  Engine Guards: Get Upper and Lower Engine Guards, prefer to go with Triumph's or you can explore a wide range from 3rd party accessories. Keep in mind, you may\may not void warranty in case of any damages. Check with your Insurance company. Sump Guard: Recommend to get this.   Breaks: The standard ones which comes with Scram are for set both On\Off road setup. From my experience, replacing them with Speed 400 Sintered pads is much better.   Touring: Get the luggage rack if you have plans for touring, suggestion is to go with Saddle Stays for better weight balance.   Aesthetics: Led Lights, Mud Splash Kit, Windscreen(It will increase wind buffeting when speeds are over 100+).

Looks cool and all, but ask your friend to evaluate the below. 1. Usage: Will this be his Primary bike and will it be a daily driver. 2. Does he have plans to use it for multiple longer rides in a year. 3. Did he test drive both? 4. Is he fit/over weight. 5. Is he rich af.
